(NaturalNews) This is an urgent message that departs from the usual health freedom focus of NaturalNews. I apologize in advance for NaturalNews readers who do not wish to read about these issues, as they can be uncomfortable for some who prefer to simply not know about this. So please do not continue reading this story if you would rather not deal with the reality of what governments throughout history have routinely done when they wanted to seize more power from citizens or expand their power. That governments do this is not even debated, by the way. It's all open source and well documented throughout the history of the world (see sources below).
This is not fiction, nor conspiracy theory. It is historical fact, and I'm warning NaturalNews readers right now because conditions seem ripe for history to repeat itself with a new engineered war, a national emergency or some sort of false flag attack by government against its own people.
Also, I want to preface all this by being clear that there are GOOD people who work in government. There are good FBI agents, good ATF agents and good local cops who really do serve the interests of the public. In fact, I would say that most law enforcement officials in the USA are working for good and do their best to operate with a sense of ethics and common sense. What I'm discussing below only represents the bad few who openly engage in corruption and planned destructive events. Sadly, these kind of evil people exist in every industry and every profession. They exist today inside the FBI, inside the ATF, and inside local police departments, and they are an embarrassment to the rest of the good "men and women in blue" who actually work to protect our streets from criminals.
So please understand that this article is not an attack on law enforcement. It is an attack on those few corrupt, evil individuals inside law enforcement (at every level) who actively violate our nation's laws and plot against the American people in order to gain money, power and control.
Government terror = instant popularity
As former President George W. Bush found out, attacking America is the quickest way to raise the popularity of the President. In the aftermath of 9/11, Bush's popularity soared beyond 70% and gave him the political momentum to pass almost any law he desired. Out of that fiasco came the Patriot Act, one of the most dangerous freedom-crushing laws in U.S. history -- a law which guts the Bill of Rights and is now used against animal rights protestors and other non-terrorist groups, by the way.
Today, Obama's popularity is plummeting, even among Democrats. Popularity polls put Obama at record lows. It is at moments like this -- when presidents are seeing their popularity plummet -- that they often turn to "fabricated emergencies" or so-called "false flag attacks" in order to rally the people behind them (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_...).
For those who don't know, false flag terror attacks have admittedly been part of the U.S. government's game plan for the last several decades. Operation Northwoods, whose documents have now been made public, revealed that the U.S. plotted to stage attacks on U.S. cities in order to blame Fidel Castro and justify an invasion of Cuba. This is historical fact, not conspiracy theory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operat...). So don't let anyone tell you this is all just some bizarre conspiracy theory. This was the official strategic playbook at the highest levels of government. It is conspiracy fact.
In other words, the U.S. government was, itself, willing to kill innocent Americans in order to garner public support for a war against Cuba. One of the targeted cities of this operation was Miami, which would have suffered countless civilian casualties under this plan. This was all laid out by the Department of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff in a document entitled, "Justification for US Military Intervention in Cuba (TS)." As journalist James Bamford described it, "Operation Northwoods, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving Lemnitzer and his cabal the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they needed to launch their war."
Government will do anything to stay in power
Did you catch that? The U.S. government plotted to commit acts of terrorism against innocent Americans simply to justify its war on Castro.
False flag attacks are routinely used by government around the world as pretexts for war (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_...). They're also quite handy at boosting the popularity of the President.
Slumping in the polls? Stage a shooting! Or better yet, drop a dirty bomb into the water supply and poison an entire city. In the aftermath of that terror, the American sheeple will go along with just about anything, including military troops on the streets, even in total violation of Posse Comitatus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posse_...) which prohibits the military form engaging in law enforcement actions on U.S. soil.
Napolitano spreads the fear to prepare the people for false flag attacks
Janet Napolitano, the most prolific propagandizer of fear at DHS, has been busy lately warning people about impeding terrorist attacks around the 9/11 ten-year anniversary. What she's not telling you, of course, is that the U.S. government itself is the group that's likely organizing these attacks for its own political purposes. Having a terrorist group take over a nuclear power plant on 9/11 would remind Americans to "be afraid" and surrender to government authority in order to feel a little safer.
It's classic problem-reaction-solution.
But getting back to the "perfect storm" I mentioned earlier, we now have four factors lining up to support a U.S. government false flag operation:
#1) Obama's plummeting ratings in the polls. A new terror attack or war is needed to rally the people around the President and save his political career.
#2) The impeding total default on the U.S. debt. What better way to distract people from the reality of financial implosion than to set off a few explosions (or dirty bombs) around the country and blame it on terrorists? Violence which can be blamed on others is always a rallying tactic for governments to engineer loyalty among the people. Watch for the U.S. government to stage an act of violence and blame it on Ron Paul supporters, veterans or people who own gold and firearms.
#3) The need to keep the people in line. Today, people are starting to question authority. They're fed up with the TSA. They're engaged in an online groundswell of disobedience toward Washington (http://www.naturalnews.com/033134_s...). The way to silence all these people and portray anti-government speech as "acts of terrorism" is to blow something up and, ideally, blame it on white American extremists. The DHS is already preparing the nation for this with propaganda ads that depict everyday white people as terrorists (http://www.prisonplanet.com/big-sis...).
#4) As a Big Government bonus, they can also go after all the gun owners who really represent the last line of resistance against government tyranny. This was the whole point behind Operation Fast & Furious, in which the U.S. government has now been caught actually selling thousands of weapons to Mexican drug gangs, in the hopes that those weapons would then be used in violent criminal acts back in the USA. In reaction to this new wave of "gun violence," the government could call for a new ban on all gun ownership -- and such an act has always been a prelude to total government tyranny against its own people. (Hitler confiscated all guns right before launching his genocidal attacks on the Jews. It's always easier to commit genocide if the innocents don't shoot back...)
These are the big four reasons why we can expect to witness a false flag attack here in America sometime in the next six months. My Spidey sense tells me this is coming sooner rather than later. I am concerned that such an engineered attack is right now being drawn up and implemented by some dark, rogue group of government operatives who are treasonous in their intentions, and that in the aftermath of it all, we will almost certainly lose even more rights and freedoms, just as we did in the aftermath of 9/11.
My predictions for the next false-flag terror attack in America
Watch for an attack to happen on a Monday or Tuesday because that maximizes the news cycle for the week. When government announces something that it doesn't want people to know about, it always announces them late on Friday, because most people are distracted with getting off work early and headed out for the weekend.
Tuesday is the ideal day to stage a false flag attack because it catches people at work and gives the event four days of mainstream news coverage which is, of course, completely engineered from false government propaganda. 9/11 took place, of course, on a Tuesday.
What will the next false-flag terror attack in America look like? My guess is that they now want to portray white people as the terrorists, so they need another Timothy McVeigh patsy to play the part. They've probably been out recruiting disgruntled veterans for this specific purpose, using all sorts of CIA mind control tactics (and technologies) to put voices into someone's head and convince them that God wants them to unleash a dirty bomb in New York City or something.
Yes, the technology to project voices into someone's head has existed for years. It's a DARPA research project called the "Sonic Projector," and WIRED News reported on it back in 2007 (http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/200...).
This same technology is also being developed as a new marketing communications system that can "beam" specific marketing messages right into the heads of people who pass by a storefront, for example. It's called HyperSonic Sound (http://www.woodynorris.com/Articles...)
Likely targets
The most likely targets in America for these false flag attacks are ones that have lots of visuals that can be shown on the evening news again and again so that they can burn the fear into the eyeballs of the American sheeple. The bloodier it all is, the better in the eyes of the government conspirators because blood and gore creates fear that can be harnessed to pass yet more freedom-crushing legislation (or just put military troops right on the streets). So the government needs something that has a strong visual element, such as a blown up building, or blown up bodies, or loads and loads of people getting sick and dying from radiation unleashed from a dirty bomb, for example.
That's why the following possible false flag terror scenarios seem the most likely to be invoked:
• Blowing up trains carrying either nuclear materials or extremely dangerous chemicals, probably near a large population area in order to cause mass casualties.
• Setting off a dirty bomb in a major U.S. city, causing widespread radiation poisoning of millions.
• Unleashing deadly poisons in the water supply (although I don't think this is the most likely one because it doesn't have strong visuals like things blowing up).
• A mass shooting massacre at a sporting event or shopping mall. This one has the psychological advantage of also calling for national gun confiscation.
• Taking over and exploding an oil refinery. They will wait for all the TV cameras to arrive before setting off the explosions, of course.
• I also think there is a slight chance that the government will try to use a disgruntled farmer as the patsy, rigging up some sort of explosion using large volumes of fertilizer and a white farmer wielding a firearm. This would be a way to attack food freedoms by portraying farmers as terrorists. A farmer could easily target a federal building (a la Oklahoma City), and the explosion would help spread fear and instill even more government authority over farms and food production. This would play right into the hands of the FDA which already wants more control over the food supply. What better way to accomplish that than to portray farmers as terrorists?
No matter what the targets, you can best that freedom will be blamed in all this, and the reporting by the mainstream media will be twisted to condemn anyone who buys gold, questions the Federal Reserve, supports Ron Paul or believes in the U.S. Constitution (gasp!). The whole point of these operations it to paint patriots as terrorists and thereby convince the rest of the sheeple in the country to strip away whatever remaining rights and protections free people might expect to enjoy.
How does the government get patsies to pull this stuff off?
You might sensibly wonder how the government gets people like Timothy McVeigh or Lee Harvey Oswald (Kennedy assassination) to play these roles of patsies? Or the Saudi air passengers on 9/11, for that matter...
The answer is simple: Undercover FBI and CIA agents find people who are disgruntled and a little whacky. Then they convince them (or literally "program" them) to take action against the government and actually provide them with the materials, logistics and know-how they need to pull off the operations. This is why we saw government agents helping the infamous "underwear bomber" board an airplane even though he didn't have identification. The FBI has also admittedly been caught trying to arm a terrorist in Portland with a "fake bomb" (http://www.americanfreepress.net/ht...).
As Paul Craig Robert, a former member of the Reagan administration, wrote about this incident:
Why does the FBI orchestrate fake "terror plots"? The latest one snared Osman Mohamud, a Somali-American teenager in Portland, Ore. The Associated Press report is headlined: "Somali-born teen plotted car-bombing in Oregon."
This is a misleading headline as the report makes it clear that it was a plot orchestrated by federal agents. Two sentences into the news report we have this: "The bomb was an elaborate fake supplied by the [FBI] agents and the public was never in danger, authorities said." The teenager was supplied with a fake bomb and a fake detonator.

Indeed, as previously reported, the FBI itself seems to pose the greatest threat as it sneaks around constructing and detonating bombs, allowing an inert device to be delivered next to a public crowd of thousands, all resulting in a high-profile arrest leaving the Mayor of Portland looking humiliatingly ignorant. This is an agency with an agenda, not an agency performing its duties. Portland's Mayor Sam Adams should be thankful the FBI didn't decide to go with real explosives as they did in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing in order to make their point and expand Federal control over the American people.
You can bet that right now, the FBI and CIA are running around America trying to recruit disgruntled crazies to carry out "terror attacks" on U.S. soil. And DHS is using its bullhorn to spread stories that the next terror attack will come from white American terrorists (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news...). (Meanwhile, hilariously, the leader of the Libyan rebels who have been strongly aided by the U.S. and the U.N. is admittedly an al-Qaida operative, once again proving that the U.S. government openly funds terrorists.)
Why is all this really being done? From the FBI's point of view, it's all about job security. It's the same story with the ATF and its gun running into Mexico (operation Fast & Furious).
The TSA is also looking to shore up its own job security, which is probably why the agency was caught running its own airport bomb practice scenarios (http://www.naturalnews.com/032458_T...) without even notifying airport police (because it's all a secret, you see).
In reality, nearly every government agency is right now thinking really hard about how to run its own false flag operations that will support its own expansion of power. The FDA loves to see food borne illness kill a few dozen people; the DEA loves to see drug gang violence breaking out in U.S. cities; and the DHS gets absolutely ecstatic when more terror attacks happen on U.S. soil. For these rogue agencies, it's all about their own survival, and they will do anything to make sure they keep getting funding.

This is how government operates, folks: It incessantly seeks to expand its power and authority at any cost. Big Government is like a cancer -- it just keeps spreading, creating larger and larger tumors until it finally kills the host. And in America today, Big Government is suffocating freedom, destroying our economy and driving America down a path of financial destruction. Just today, Donald Rumsfeld threatened that if defense funding was cut to the Pentagon, America would suffer another terrorist attack (http://www.humanevents.com/article....).
This is all being done by design, of course. Why else would the feds raid Gibson Guitars at gunpoint and order them to export their jobs overseas by claiming it is illegal for American workers to "work the wood" used to make guitars? (http://www.naturalnews.com/033506_G...)
Why else would Obama's health care reform contain provisions that seem specifically designed to crush medium-sized businesses and drive more jobs out of the country? Why else would the new Food Safety Modernization Act actually expand the funding of the FDA, a bona fide government terrorist organization that operates a network of spies and infiltrators who run around the country intimidating raw milk ranchers and threatening to murder their animal herds? You've got to take off the blinders, folks, and realize that all these individual actions of government tyranny and intimidation make up the puzzle pieces of a much larger picture. And that picture clearly depicts the U.S. government as something that has long forgotten any sense of serving the People through civic duty and, instead, now views itself as the controller of the people. Government today views itself as the police state authority over every detail of citizens' lives.
As a great example of that which just surfaced, a Good Samaritan citizen who stepped in to help direct traffic after a traffic light went out was just arrested by the cops and given a ticket. Meanwhile, the cops refused to direct traffic at all, letting the traffic back up for at least a mile (http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2011...).
The mere act of trying to help society now gets you arrested, imprisoned or ticketed in America. And don't even try to question the authority of cops, or you'll be tasered and beaten.
The government of America has become the very same freedom-crushing monstrosity our founding father warned us about, and it actively seeks to use acts of government-run domestic terrorism to keep the American people in line. This is the reality of the government we live under today, and it's not going to get any better until we wise up and take back our freedoms to prevent violence from being committed by our government against our own citizens.
For the record, I do not espouse the use of violence to resolve conflicts, and I have consistently urged NaturalNews readers to support non-violent activism to take back our freedoms, throw the scoundrels out of office, peacefully march in protest of bad policies and so on. The radical government always tries to paint patriots and constitutional scholars as "terrorists" who advocate violence, but in reality it is the constitutionalists who are trying to prevent violence by restoring the Republic that America once was. A Republic, you probably already know, is a nation that exists under the rule of law, where those laws apply equally to everyone, including members of government.
And yet today, our own government operatives utterly disregard law, dismiss the Constitution and even knowingly violate laws in their quest for more power and control. Forcing government to follow the law is a very, very difficult thing to accomplish as has been shown throughout human history:
A Republic, if you can keep it
The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. Consequently, anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall when the proceedings ended in order to learn what had been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately. A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, "A republic, if you can keep it." But we have failed to keep it, sadly. America has devolved into a land of government lawlessness where even the Bill of Rights is routinely and willfully violated. This is not a government "of the People, by the People and for the People." It has grown into a monstrosity of government for government's sake, and DAMN the People!
This is why you can expect the next so-called "terrorism" attacks in America to be planned and executed by government itself. Now that law has been abandoned, terror is the one remaining tactic they can use to keep the sheeple in line. George Bush used it quite effectively to partially dismantle the Bill of Rights, and now Obama will continue the work of George Bush just as he's done with secret prisons, illegal wars, economic destruction and empty rhetoric that only distracts the American people from the reality of what's being done to us.

More On Government Gunrunners

My column last week focused on the federal government’s covert program to directly supply firearms to Mexican drug cartels. The program was discovered by a congressional investigation after a Mexican gang using a firearm–or firearms–supplied to it by the ATF, murdered a US Border Patrol agent.

A subsequent article written by Justin Raimondo sheds even more light on this disgusting debacle. Raimondo writes, “While the US military is being sent overseas in search of monsters to destroy, ignoring the good advice of the Founders, closer to home another war is brewing–right on the US-Mexican border. Border Patrol agent Brian A. Terry, killed on Dec. 21 near Rio Rico, Arizona, was murdered by drug cartel gunmen–using weapons smuggled across the US-Mexican border under the auspices of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (BATF).
“While the cartels shoot up half of Mexico, and terrorize the other half, it seems they’ve been getting a helping hand from those geniuses in Washington, whose ‘law enforcement’ agencies knowingly allowed sophisticated firearms to be smuggled across the border, into Mexico. As BATF special agent John Dodson told the House Oversight Committee:
“‘This is not a matter of some weapons that had gotten away from us or allowing a few to walk so that we could follow them to a much larger significant target. Allowing loads of weapons that we knew to be destined for criminals was the plan. This was the mandate.
“‘ATF is supposed to be the guardians–the sheep dogs that protect against the wolves that prey upon us–especially along our southern border. But rather than meet the wolf head on, we sharpened his teeth, added number to his claws, all the while we sat idly by watching, tracking, and noting as he became a more efficient and effective predator.’
“This goes way beyond mere ‘blowback’–the CIA’s terminology for actions that produce unintended and unpleasant consequences. Because it’s hard to fathom exactly what was intended–unless it was the desire to sow chaos in Mexico and create a new threat to US citizens in the border states.”
Raimondo goes on to write, “Governments don’t allow such large weapons shipments to pass over their borders to foreign customers without having some foreign policy objective in mind–and, when it comes to the empire-builders in Washington, what other purpose could it be than the expansion of the imperial frontiers?
“Brushing aside the official explanation and excuses, when you look at what Operation Fast and Furious actually accomplished–the arming and consolidation of a military force currently fighting Mexico’s armed forces–the conclusion that we are actively involved in destabilizing the Mexican government is hard to avoid. It is a simple statement of fact.”
Raimondo continues, “The embattled Mexican government has barely been able to keep order, as the cartels rampage through the country, slaughtering thousands and dominating entire provinces: dead bodies keep turning up in droves, and it seems like a day hardly passes without some spectacular display of violence in a major Mexican city. Whole police forces are deserting, not out of disloyalty but out of fear–fear that the government is losing its grip and the drug cartels are about to take over.
“In this context, to put thousands of weapons in the hands of highly-organized criminals is inconceivable-unless the plan is to bring the Mexican government down and create chaos.”
Then, Raimondo draws a particularly astute observation by saying, “For years, our elites have been trying to forge links among the three nations that make up North America: ‘free trade’ zones that aren’t free, coordination of military and law enforcement agencies, etc. Some are even proposing a somewhat loopy-sounding ‘North American Union,’ supposedly with its own currency–the ‘Amero’–although officials (and the mainstream media) deny it, claiming it’s a rumor started by the hated ‘conspiracists.’ In the face of this criminal conspiracy carried out with the collaboration of several US government agencies, however, one has to wonder about the real purpose of Operation Fast and Furious.
“With Mexico at the mercy of US-armed drug gangs, and the central government in Mexico City about to lose control, the introduction of US troops to ‘keep order’ is entirely within the realm of possibility. In that case, the North American Union will become a reality, in fact if not in the formal sense–and the latter can be arranged quickly enough.
“Call me a ‘conspiracist,’ if it makes you feel better, but when it comes to the crack-brained schemes of our wise rulers, it seems to me there’s no limit to their ability to sow tragedy and terror wherever they tread. They did it in Iraq, they’re doing it in Afghanistan, and they’ve been doing it for decades throughout the world–why should Mexico be immune?”

I ask readers, can the US government’s foreign policy get any worse? The answer is probably YES! It’s been getting worse for a long time, and absent a President in Washington, D.C., with the mental acumen and the internal fortitude to put a stop to it, it WILL get a lot worse!
Globalist elitists have been extremely influential in America’s foreign policy since the administration of Woodrow Wilson, and they have thoroughly dominated America’s foreign policy since the administration of George Bush I. Surprisingly, the last President to attempt to defy the globalists might have been John F. Kennedy. And look what happened to him.
I had a retired US Air Force Brigadier General–who had experience in both the Pentagon and the White House–tell me that Kennedy was murdered for three reasons: 1) He wanted to abolish the Federal Reserve, 2) He wanted to dismantle the CIA, 3) He wanted to bring US forces home from Vietnam. All three of those plans, if enacted, would have struck at the very heart of the globalists’ evil machinations for America. A phony, fiat money system, constant foreign entanglements and intervention, and perpetual foreign wars is the holy trifecta of the globalist agenda.
When will voters, especially conservative and Christian voters, wake up to the reality that electing a “conservative” or “Christian” President is absolutely meaningless unless this President understands the globalist make-up of America’s current foreign policy and would be willing to risk his life to undo it! This is why Ron Paul is the only Presidential candidate who would make any difference in Washington, D.C. Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Huntsman, Palin, Perry, Romney, and Santorum are either clueless in this regard, or in the case of Gingrich and Perry, are active fellow-travelers in the march toward a globalist New World Order. Ron Paul is the only candidate who not only “gets it” but also is adamantly opposed to it.
So, while Americans are focused on Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and Yemen (and, yes, these wars fit in with the globalists’ agenda as well), the US government is busy stirring up war and revolution a whole lot closer to home. And if you think it doesn’t matter whether a constitutionalist President (Christian or not) is elected, you might want to speak to the family of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

Border Patrol agent Brian A. Obama Preparing for Martial Law During Hyperinflation
In August of 2009, the city of Paterson, New Jersey, proposed the implementation of martial law by imposing an adult curfew at night in an attempt to curb violence. This unprecedented proposed ordinance would have made it illegal for adults to leave their homes and be out in the public in Paterson between the hours of 12AM and 7AM, with a penalty of up to a $2,000 fine and 90 days in jail. This ordinance would have been completely unconstitutional, especially being that it was a non-emergency situation.
NIA actually determined that violence in the city was down that year and trending downward over the previous few years. We thought for sure that there was more to the story than what was being reported by the mainstream media, so we traveled to Paterson City Hall and attempted to interview then-Mayor Joey Torres on camera. The mayor turned down the interview and refused to answer our questions even off camera.
As we left the mayor's office, we met a city employee who overheard our conversation and introduced us to then-City Council President Jeffery Jones, who agreed to an interview and invited us into his office. Jones explained to us that he is the City Council President and the first time he ever heard of this proposal was from the Associated Press, after Torres already announced it on the steps of the police department saying, "we're trying to think outside the box" in regards to solving crime issues. Jones expressed disbelief that the mayor would want to lock down an entire city including the people who aren't committing crimes. He was also surprised that the AP already had a list of the 30 shootings that occurred in the city during the previous year, when this was undisclosed information that even he didn't have at the time.
Jones was flabbergasted that this ordinance was even being considered since it completely lacked logic. He said that in the past before any other ordinances were publicly announced by the mayor, there would always be a comprehensive discussion about it between local government officials. Not only was there no discussion about it, but Torres hastily added it to the City Council's agenda for a vote at their very next meeting. Jones was perplexed not just by the total lack of discussion and rush to get it passed, but by the total lack of details in the ordinance regarding the roles of departments, agencies, and the police department's capacity to do the work. Using common sense, Jones said that if the police department had the capacity to enforce the ordinance, we wouldn't even be discussing it.
NIA agreed with Jones that if the police department couldn't prevent the 30 shootings from taking place in the city, there is no way on earth that it will have the ability to enforce an ordinance keeping 146,199 residents in their homes at night. Torres must have known that and must have also known that proposing this ordinance would be career suicide. Therefore, we see no logical explanation as to why Torres would propose this during a time when crime in the city was declining and he was up for reelection the very next year. Even a preschool child with no political experience would focus on taking credit for the reduction in crime, instead of giving the impression that the city has no protection or safety for its residents by proclaiming they must all be locked down.
Paterson is one of the largest recipients of federal funding per capita in the U.S. It makes total sense to NIA if the Federal Government was forcing Torres to propose this ordinance. The government most likely wanted to gauge the public's reaction and see what type of outrage there would be in response to this proposal. The government wanted to see just how many residents would be willing to so easily give up their freedom and liberty in the name of safety by supporting the ordinance. The government wanted to know how difficult it would be to get the ordinance passed and if it was passed, they wanted to see what it would take to enforce it. A real life trial of martial law in one of the largest cities in the New York metropolitan area would allow the military to be better equipped to handle all types of situations when martial law takes place on a nationwide basis during hyperinflation.
The reason why we believe the ordinance was so vague with no details about enforcement is simple, the police department was never intended to enforce the ordinance. In the event that the ordinance was passed, there would immediately be thousands of brand new criminals breaking the law in Paterson and Torres would have a need to ask the Federal Government to bring in the U.S. military to detain the thousands of criminals who were disobeying the law. The Federal Government would in effect be creating a phony conflict in a city with a high crime rate so that they can justify using the U.S. military at home.
Last year, President Obama signed an Executive Order "Establishment of the Council of Governors", which Obama claims is an order to strengthen further the "partnership" between the Federal Government and State governments to "protect" our Nation and its people and property. It orders that a council be created of 10 State Governors appointed by the President who will meet to exchange information with the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of Homeland Security, and many other government officials related to the military. Their meetings will concern matters involving the National Guard of the various States, homeland defense, civil support, synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States; and other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities.
From our experience, we know that the words "partnership" and "protect" are being used in this order to deceive the public into believing the Executive Order serves some kind of a noble purpose, which to us shows malicious intent behind the creation of the order. "Civil support" in this Executive Order can't possibly mean anything other than martial law when civil unrest takes place inside of a city. This Executive Order is an attempt to invalidate the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 and make it legal for the military to enforce civilian laws inside of a city like Paterson. You would think that an Executive Order this outrageous and disturbing would have all Americans up in arms, but the mainstream media completely ignored this latest attempt by Obama to transfer power from state and local governments to the Federal Government, and didn't have one single report about it.
Interestingly, Obama was just in Paterson this past Sunday touring parts of the city damaged by Hurricane Irene with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and newly elected Paterson Mayor Jeffery Jones. (Jones in late-September 2009 rejected the adult curfew ordinance of former-Paterson Mayor Joey Torres and in 2010 ran against him for mayor, defeating him despite being outspent 17 to 1.) Hurricane Irene caused the worst flooding crisis in city history. Mandatory evacuations were ordered for parts of the city, forcing thousands of people out of their homes and hundreds of businesses to close. All across Paterson, store shelves were empty with no food, water, batteries, or flashlights available to purchase anywhere. With most of the main streets and bridges into the city flooded, trucks weren't able to enter the city to replenish stores with supplies.
As bad as the flooding from Hurricane Irene was for Paterson residents, it is nothing compared to the devastation and destruction that will be caused by a different kind of flooding from Obama and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. Obama and Bernanke have been flooding the world with trillions of U.S. dollars with the false belief that because Treasury yields have been falling to record lows, Obama can run trillion dollar budget deficits with Bernanke leaving the Federal Funds Rate near zero forever. Their actions are setting up the next major U.S. financial crisis, which will be massive price inflation that eventually results in hyperinflation and leads to government price controls. The empty store shelves in Paterson from Hurricane Irene are finally being replenished now that flood waters are subsiding. Unfortunately, the empty store shelves that will arise from hyperinflation and government price controls, will be permanent.
The 77-foot high Great Falls and river that was responsible for most of the flooding in Paterson, was previously used for centuries to power dozens of surrounding mills that produced textiles, firearms, and railroad locomotive products. Paterson eventually became one of the world's largest producing cities of silk, with 50% of U.S. silk production coming from Paterson, and was later named the "Silk City". Immigrants from all around the world who moved to the U.S., came to Paterson from Ellis Island to get their first job in America at one of Paterson's many factories.
Today, there are no more silk mills left in Paterson and unemployment in the city is nearly double the national average. With 30% of Paterson residents living below poverty, Paterson is one of the U.S. cities that will be hurt most by the massive monetary inflation of the Federal Reserve. The majority of people in Paterson are relying on government entitlement programs just to survive and don't have the financial resources to accumulate physical gold and silver.
While in Paterson, Obama pledged Federal Government funding to residents who were devastated by the hurricane. The White House has estimated that the U.S. government's cost for Hurricane Irene relief will be around $1.5 billion, but the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) only has $800 million in funds left. FEMA will soon be asking Congress for billions of dollars that our government doesn't have and the Federal Reserve will be forced to print. By printing the FEMA funds to be provided to people in Paterson, the food stamps, unemployment checks, welfare checks, and other government entitlements that Paterson residents depend on to survive, will all lose their purchasing power, making residents more dependent on government than ever. This is Obama's strategy to get reelected, promise people more government handouts that instead of helping them, cause the U.S. dollar to lose its purchasing power and make the people as dependent on government as possible.

FEMA even paid $800 million to manufacture 11,000 mobile homes to be used as shelter for Hurricane Katrina victims, but they were never used and were left to waste away in Arkansas.
The most shocking FEMA debacle is when they decided to give out thousands of debit cards with $2,000 on them to Hurricane Katrina victims. Many people ended up using these debit cards at strip clubs. A jail escapee convicted of murder was even able to say he was a Hurricane Katrina victim and get a free $2,000 FEMA debit card, which he used to buy beer and drugs, before paying a limo driver to transport him far out of the area. A Red Cross volunteer was convicted and jailed for stealing $250,000 worth of these debit cards and we are sure that others got away with stealing millions of dollars worth of them.
If Americans didn't have the mindset that FEMA will always be there to rescue them, more Americans would have full insurance coverage on their homes. One Paterson resident who we saw on the nightly news crying about his home being flooded and how he didn't have money for flood insurance, had an iPhone in his hand. The average annual flood insurance policy costs less than the average annual mobile phone bill. If the cost of insurance to cover flood damages is extraordinarily high in certain areas because the locations are prone to flood, then Americans shouldn't be living there. Americans who are smart enough not to build a home on the edge of a cliff or next to a river, shouldn't be forced to pay for incompetent Americans who did. It is the existence of FEMA that encourages Americans to build in risky locations without thinking of the consequences.

FEMA will soon be asking Congress for billions of dollars that our government doesn't have and the Federal Reserve will be forced to print. By printing the FEMA funds to be provided to people in Paterson, the food stamps, unemployment checks, welfare checks, and other government entitlements that Paterson residents depend on to survive, will all lose their purchasing power, making residents more dependent on government than ever. This is Obama's strategy to get reelected, promise people more government handouts that instead of helping them, cause the U.S. dollar to lose its purchasing power and make the people as dependent on government as possible.
NIA believes the main reason Obama went to Paterson was to see exactly how residents responded to mandatory evacuations and empty store shelves. He knows that Paterson is a microcosm of what the whole entire U.S. will soon look like during hyperinflation. That is why the Federal Government was so eager to run martial law tests and trials in Paterson. They know that the city is practically on the verge already of having rioting, looting, and civil unrest, before hyperinflation arrives. By providing Paterson with more federal funds, we are sure a secret deal will be worked out that will allow the Federal Government to push through their plans for a martial law trial in Paterson without any resistance from local government officials
NIA believes that the Federal Government has no business providing funds to victims of hurricanes and other natural disasters. There is absolutely nothing in the U.S. Constitution that authorizes it. Most Americans are afraid to speak out against helping victims of natural disasters, but FEMA is a bureaucratic waste that needs to be eliminated in favor of free market solutions. During Hurricane Katrina, thousands of Americans volunteered to help out in disaster relief, but instead of being put straight to work they were told to sit around for hours, which turned into days, and many of them decided to just go home. FEMA spent an outrageous $416,000 per person to provide temporary housing for several hundred Hurricane Katrina evacuees in Alabama. FEMA even paid $800 million to manufacture 11,000 mobile homes to be used as shelter for Hurricane Katrina victims, but they were never used and were left to waste away in Arkansas.
The most shocking FEMA debacle is when they decided to give out thousands of debit cards with $2,000 on them to Hurricane Katrina victims. Many people ended up using these debit cards at strip clubs. A jail escapee convicted of murder was even able to say he was a Hurricane Katrina victim and get a free $2,000 FEMA debit card, which he used to buy beer and drugs, before paying a limo driver to transport him far out of the area. A Red Cross volunteer was convicted and jailed for stealing $250,000 worth of these debit cards and we are sure that others got away with stealing millions of dollars worth of them.
If Americans didn't have the mindset that FEMA will always be there to rescue them, more Americans would have full insurance coverage on their homes. One Paterson resident who we saw on the nightly news crying about his home being flooded and how he didn't have money for flood insurance, had an iPhone in his hand. The average annual flood insurance policy costs less than the average annual mobile phone bill. If the cost of insurance to cover flood damages is extraordinarily high in certain areas because the locations are prone to flood, then Americans shouldn't be living there. Americans who are smart enough not to build a home on the edge of a cliff or next to a river, shouldn't be forced to pay for incompetent Americans who did. It is the existence of FEMA that encourages Americans to build in risky locations without thinking of the consequences.
Ever since Christie was elected Governor of New Jersey, he has surpassed the expectations we had for him, taking dramatic steps to cut wasteful spending in the state. Unfortunately, he appears to have changed his beliefs due to a Category 1 hurricane. He now doesn't even think it is necessary for the Federal Government to cut enough spending in parts of the budget to cover its spending on hurricane relief. The fact is, if Christie wants to help residents of New Jersey, he should have reserves set aside to do so on his own. If anybody in government is responsible for helping New Jersey residents hurt by Hurricane Irene, it is Christie himself. Instead of state and local elected representatives putting funds aside for a rainy day, it seems as though their entire purpose is to beg the Federal Government for relief.
NIA expects Sarah Palin to announce her candidacy for the Republican Nomination for President of the United States this month. It was a prediction that NIA originally made in its top 10 predictions for 2011 back in January. We give her credit for helping build $14 billion in state reserves while she was Governor of Alaska, before quitting the job that she was nominated for. If a natural disaster strikes Alaska, they will be able to take care of themselves. Unfortunately, these Alaskans would in effect be punished for their good decisions by being forced to pay for the reckless decisions of other states. Many other states would also have large reserves for a rainy day if it wasn't for the Federal Government creating a moral hazard by providing funding to state and local governments for disaster relief.
If Alaska was smart they would secede from the union and become their own country. Alaska currently has no state income tax or sales tax, and if Alaskans no longer had to pay federal income tax to support the reckless wasteful spending of U.S. politicians, millions of people from across the U.S. and all around the world would want to move to Alaska. As the U.S. dollar continues to rapidly lose its purchasing power, the likelihood of Alaska and other states moving towards secession will greatly increase. In 2006, an organization collected the required signatures to place on Alaska's fall ballot an initiative to have Alaska secede from the union, but the State Supreme Court ruled any attempt at secession to be illegal and unconstitutional.
NIA believes that U.S. states have the legal right to secede from the union. U.S. courts have proven time and time again that they will incorrectly interpret the U.S. Constitution in order to protect the government's destructive illegal actions while selectively ignoring provisions that protect American's rights. The U.S. is addicted to waging illegal wars against countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and soon to be Syria. The U.S. is also addicted to money printing, in large part to pay for its illegal wars. These dangerous addictions are unconstitutional, because the U.S. Constitution said wars must be approved by Congress and only gold and silver shall be used as legal tender. The act of secession is a very powerful tool that should only be used during times in which the Federal Government's actions threaten the freedom and liberty of the citizens they swore to protect. Secession is legal and constitutional because without it there is nothing to keep the Federal Government in check and force them to rein in out of control deficit spending that threatens our very existence as a sovereign nation.

I was going back over my records of what the Lord has spoken to me over the past several years when I came across something He said on March 25, 2008, after He had shown me a vision during my worship time of a giant black blanket descending silently towards the earth. It was falling through space and when I saw it, I got a really bad feeling. I did not understand what it meant at the time and had asked Him to reveal it to me. I could not remember if I had posted this or not.
March 25, 2008:
The blanket of darkness you saw descending is spiritual blindness that is about to cover the earth. The people who have denied Me, those who have treated My Son's blood frivolously, those who do not walk in My ways, will be trapped in it. They will become prey to the Evil One and will be given over to their sinful ways. Their lusts shall consume them, and death shall be their reward.
You are seeing My judgment fall on some already, but you will see this increase as the days pass, as I remove the blemishes that have shamed My holy name and profaned My church.
I will no longer look the other way from their sin but I will uncover it for all the world to see. Disgrace shall be their reward. I will no longer tolerate sin in the church.
And the pretenders I shall also remove for they are not of Me, they are not branches of the true vine. They sit like puppets, week after week, but their eyes do not see and their ears do not hear. They seek Me not and have aroused My holy anger.

Banks, Governments Move To Restrict Personal Gold Bullion Purchases

This week we returned from a trip to the Eurozone where we met with a host of different people across many countries and several industries. All of the indicators we’re seeing – construction starts, bank lending, personal borrowing habits, economic growth, and even the (lack of) items in grocery store carts – suggest that Europe is on the brink, though as is generally the case, the average European has no clue what’s coming their way.
The most alarming situation we identified is one relating to the purchase of gold coins and bullion – specifically in the country of Austria – but one that will likely make its way across the EU if it hasn’t already. Unlike the United States, where gold and silver can be purchased through traditional methods like visiting a local dealer directly, or even placing an order on the internet, it is much more difficult to find a gold/silver dealer outside of Germany or Switzerland. As a result, those individuals interested in acquiring gold are left with purchasing directly from local bank branches.
Had you visited an Austrian bank three months ago, you would have had absolutely no problem purchasing a large quantity of gold/silver from the bank. You’d simply call the bank about 24 – 48 hours in advance, let them know you’re coming and how much you needed, and you’d personally pick up your order within a couple days.
A new trend in Austrian (and perhaps the rest of Europe’s) banking policies suggests that certain interested parties are attempting to control the sale and personal acquisition of gold/silver as safe haven assets. What we experienced first hand should be a wake up call for not just Europeans, but Americans as well.
The policy change was quiet, has not been reported by any media outlets that we’re aware of, and no mention of the new policies is made on the web sites of Austria’s largest banking institutions (though it is clear they vehemently comply with U.S. anti-money laundering measures and the Patriot Act)
According to the bank representatives and manager we spoke with, Austrian banks have now been ordered to restrict the sale of gold and silver bullion purchases and are limiting personal acquisitions of precious metals to 15,000€ (approximately $20,700 USD) at a time, or 11 ounces of gold at today’s prices.
Upon further discussion we learned that these policies were implemented over the course of the last 30 days, and they are now standard operating procedure. The reason given was the banks had come under pressure from EU, Austrian and U.S. officials, with this particular manager specifically citing U.S. money laundering initiatives and the EU’s Third EU Money Laundering Directive which was implemented across the zone in December of 2007.
The idea that these restrictions have been put in place as anti-money laundering measures is laughable. As we all know, if a drug cartel or other criminal organization wanted to launder money, they wouldn’t do it in person purchasing bullion coins at a local banking branch. They’d simply pick up the phone and contact a too-big-too-fail bank (video), as we’ve seen with the billions of dollars recently laundered through U.S. banks. You may remember there was very little reporting on this issue from mainstream media and it has been ignored by U.S. prosecutors.
As Austria is one of the more developed nations in the Euro Zone, there is a strong likelihood that they are not the sole country implementing these new policies – and that this has been, or soon will be, implemented across the entirety of EU nations.
To the average European and American this may not mean much. But if you’ve been paying attention to the events unfolding over the last several years, it’s becoming clear that the economies of the EU and US are under threat of a significant and potentially permanent financial collapse. This morning, IMF managing director Christine Lagarde was quoted as saying that the situation is so dire, “policymakers should stand ready, as needed, to take more action to support the recovery, including through unconventional measures.”
The new gold and silver purchasing limits would certainly qualify as unconventional, along with other recent proposed measures by EU officials and business leaders. One such proposal from Italian business leaders calls for all cash transactions over 300 Euro (About $400 USD) to be banned, and to be permitted only in electronic format.
The global trend across industrialized nations for the last twenty years has been to move towards a cashless society, but one that still utilizes centrally planned currencies. While central banks, large institutional funds and wealthy private investors across the world continue to buy up gold, governments seem to be moving quickly to restrict the ability of average people to do the same – and they are rapidly implementing policies to either restrict or track these types of transactions.
Many cities around the country, such as Houston, TX, have passed identification requirements that force sellers of precious metals to present a valid form of ID at the time of sale. Like Europe, the U.S. is expeditiously implementing direct methods of tracking these transactions, as well as indirect methods that target those who may be engaging in suspicious activities, namely using cash, as per FBI and Homeland Security bulletins issued last month.
The noose is tightening. Governments, large financial institutions and political chess players know exactly where real value exists. And it’s certainly not in the currencies that are being printed with reckless abandon.

Important Things to Understand BEFORE You Relocate TO MONTANA "...to Combat the NWO"
Many Americans believe relocating to wilderness regions across is a safe thing as we face martial law in America. But IS IT?

There are ever-increasing numbers of people across North America who have finally become aware of the NWO MARTIAL LAW AGENDA for North America. One of the first questions they often ask is, "WHERE SHOULD I MOVE TO? WHERE IS THE SAFEST PLACE TO GO?" Many who ask these questions have small children or elderly that they are concerned about, for their safety. And rightly so.
It is often advised to GET OUT OF THE BIG CITIES and surrounding suburbs. Find a home in the countryside where you can grow your own food, perhaps raise some livestock, and be more self-sufficient. BIG CITIES WILL BE HIT THE HARDEST UNDER MARTIAL LAW. It is therefore wise indeed to move out of cities and crowded suburbs surrounding them.
Some people assume that wilderness regions across America will also be safer. Perhaps at one point in America's past, this was the case. But at this time, such regions may easily prove to be the most volatile and the future locations wherein the bloodiest and most prolonged battles for America's freedoms will take place under martial law. The federal government and the US military are in fact closely monitoring such regions, assessing the Patriot/NWO resister threat such regions pose to their NWO agenda under martial law.
In the situation involving the state of MONTANA, there indeed are vast areas of remote wilderness, both in the mountains and across the plains of Montana. Montana is considered one of the least populated states in the USA, with only Alaska and Wyoming having fewer people per square mile than Montana.
For this reason, however, large numbers of those who consider themselves Patriotic gun-owning Americans, intent on personally resisting the NEW WORLD ORDER agenda for America, have purchased homes and land throughout Montana, and especially in the northwestern quadrant of Montana wherein numerous mountains are found.
These mountains stretch into neighboring IDAHO, wherein there are also many NWO resisters to be found as well.
What these well-meaning people do not realize, is that the Pentagon and the intelligence community are closely monitoring regions such as this across America. The NWO MARTIAL LAW military agenda planners for North America want to KNOW where it's future enemies are located and concentrated. And wherever they perceive there to be concentrated pockets of future NWO resistance, they will take severe and relentless military measures to counter this Patriot NWO resistance "effectively."
I have personally discovered this to be true regarding MONTANA. Throughout my 14 years of personally investigating the NEW WORLD ORDER AGENDA FOR AMERICA, I have spent several months each of those years traveling throughout Montana, investigating the groundwork being laid out for what appears to be complete military subduing of civilian Patriot resistance in this state and region.
You must understand, that the NWO martial law agenda for this nation is a MILITARY AGENDA. It must be understood therefore from a military perspective. After all, MARTIAL LAW means MILITARY RULE.
It is relatively easy for me to grasp the essentials of this NWO plan of takeover for America. I was born at the headquarters of the USAF. My father was a famous figure in the USAF and worked at both Bolling AFB and the Pentagon in Washington DC. My mother worked for the Department of Defense. I have spent much time interviewing people form the intelligence community and the US military, retired and active, regarding the NEW WORLD ORDER AGENDA FOR AMERICA.
The information they began to reveal to me, starting in 1995, was so deeply disturbing, that I changed careers, to become involved in the field of investigative journalism so that I could warn my fellow Americans about what is planned to come to our nation. This is the kind of information that is blacked out and censored from the American public all the time. Yet the American people DESERVE TO KNOW THE TRUTH in this desperate hour.
Regarding MONTANA, I began to receive disturbing reports of NWO advance preparations for military takeover in 1995. Eye witnesses told of sightings of PRISONER BOXCARS WITH SHACKLES located in Columbia Falls, MT, on sidetracks. Through years of investigating the reality of prisoner boxcars with shackles, now prepositioned across the USA for the hour of martial law as confirmed by numerous eye-witnesses, I now understood fully their purposes. They will be used to haul people who are arrested under martial law, to the FEMA/HOMELAND SECURITY detention camps for processing, and in many cases elimination.
Such people targeted for arrest and to be taken to the camps include: gun owners who will not surrender their weapons, political and religious opponents of the NWO agenda (CHRISTIANS especially, as CIA whistleblowers emphatically informed me), etc.
Former CIA have admitted to me that "...ALL of us in the CIA know about these camps and their purposes. We all KNOW they are to TERMINATE the future resisters of the NEW WORLD ORDER under martial law..." Numerous sightings of prisoner boxcars with shackles have taken place throughout Montana. And no, these are NOT the "auto-carriers" that some people have suspected night be used someday (and they CAN be.) These are actual boxcars with human prisoner shackles welded into them. Because there are many covert prisoner boxcars with shackles manufacturing operations across America, there are several difference kinds.
Some are older refurbished boxcars. Others are the new and modern ones, 3 levels high inside, and higher than normal boxcars on the outside. GUNDERSON INC received a huge contract from the US government to produce thousands of these boxcars previously.
There is evidence of much government monitoring of civilians here in Montana, as I discovered. I was on the radio in Kalispell, MT, on day with John Stokes, formerly of THE EDGE AM 600 broadcast, until he lost his station a few years ago. After a two hour special interview on THE NWO IN MONTANA, he took me aside before I left the building. He said, "Be CAREFUL! This are is SWARMING WITH FED SPIES!" And he was right. Locals confirmed this to me through their own personal experiences.
One woman admitted to me, "We no longer form open MILITIAS any more. There is too much Federal infiltration into our militias. Now it is as if every other home has become IT'S OWN PERSONAL MILITIA."
Evidence has been uncovered of the recent building of new prisoner detention facilities for martial law throughout Montana, including above Whitefish, MT, according to another journalist. He was so unnerved by what one city council member admitted to him about the detention camps, mobile FEMA prisoner units, and boxcars with shackles, that he returned home to pick up his wife and child and LEAVE THE COUNTRY.
I personally interviewed a woman with top secret security clearance enabling her to make deliveries of food supplies by truck to military DUMB (deep underground military bases) and military underground detention camps. I asked her where the last location was where she made a delivery to underground detention camp. She replied. "MONTANA."
The presence of the MODERN MILITARY GUILLOTINES is heavily reported in this state. I have personally interviewed credible Christian eye-witnesses to both the prisoner boxcars and the modern military guillotines in Montana. Other reporting sources have also confirmed the guillotine presence in Montana. one trucker in the Glacier region admitted to me personally in a local church a few months ago, that he was very concerned: his trucker friends admitted they were bringing large shipments of MODERN GUILLOTINES into BILLINGS, MT.
This is not the first time that truckers have confirmed to me the transporting of military guillotines by truck across America. One US Marine admitted to unloading the military guillotines by the thousands in crates in Montana in a closed military base, that we believe to be located in GLASGOW, MT.
It was in GLASGOW MT that prisoner shackles were welded into prisoner boxcars, according to on professional welder. And modern guillotines were bolted inside, one into each of these prisoner boxcars. We suspect that a new deep underground base with many tunnels is being constructed in the KALISPELL region, due to MANY reports from locals indicating that heavy excavating and digging has been going on for quite a while now beneath the streets of KALISPELL and going beyond in other directions, including Thompson Falls, MT.

Numerous sightings of prisoner boxcars with shackles have taken place throughout Montana. And no, these are NOT the "auto-carriers" that some people have suspected night be used someday (and they CAN be.) These are actual boxcars with human prisoner shackles welded into them. Because there are many covert prisoner boxcars with shackles manufacturing operations across America, there are several difference kinds.
Some are older refurbished boxcars. Others are the new and modern ones, 3 levels high inside, and higher than normal boxcars on the outside. GUNDERSON INC received a huge contract from the US government to produce thousands of these boxcars previously.

I was on the radio in Kalispell, MT, on day with John Stokes, formerly of THE EDGE AM 600 broadcast, until he lost his station a few years ago. Do You Now Understand Why You Need To Prepare For Emergencies? This Has Been The Worst Year For Natural Disasters In U.S. History
There has been a natural disaster that has caused at least a billion dollars of damage inside the United States every single month so far this year. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, there have been 10 major disasters in the United States this year. On average, usually there are only about 3 major disasters a year. At this point, disasters are happening inside the United States so frequently that there seems to be no gap between them. We just seem to go from one major disaster to the next. Last year, FEMA declared an all-time record of 81 disasters inside the United States. This year, we are on pace for well over 100. We just got done dealing with Hurricane Irene, and now we are dealing with historic wildfires in Texas and unprecedented flooding up in the northeast part of the country. This has been the worst year for natural disasters in U.S. history, and we still have nearly four months left to go. Hopefully after everything that has happened this year it has become abundantly clear to all of us why we need to prepare for emergencies. The world is becoming an increasingly unstable place, and you never know what is going to happen next.
Thankfully, the U.S. has not experienced a disaster on the level of Hurricane Katrina so far this year, but what makes this year different is that we have never seen so many major disasters happen so rapidly. Since the beginning of the year we have had to deal with record-setting winter storms, nightmarish tornadoes, "once in a century" earthquakes, historic flooding all over the country, severe drought and some of the worst wildfires the U.S. has ever experienced.
Is there a reason why the United States is being hit by major disaster after major disaster or is all of this just a really unfortunately coincidence? The following are just a few of the nightmarish natural disasters that the U.S. has had to deal with so far this year.....
Texas Wildfires
At this point, the state of Texas has been on fire for nearly 300 consecutive days. This has been the worst wildfire season that Texas has ever experienced.
So far, an astounding 3.6 million acres has been burned. Vast stretches of Texas have been transformed into desolate wastelands.
Over the past week alone, the Texas Forest Service has responded to more than 180 new fires. The incredibly dry weather and the scorching temperatures have combined to turn the state of Texas into a tinderbox.
One massive wildfire near Austin, Texas has burned approximately 1,400 homes and continues to spread. The state desperately needs rain and it needs it now.

Historic Drought
Right now, approximately 81 percent of the state of Texas is experiencing "exceptional drought" conditions. Not only has this created an ideal environment for wildfires, it is also absolutely crippling ranchers and farmers.
Farmers in Texas have lost over half of the cotton crop so far. This is likely to cause clothing prices to rise substantially in the months ahead.
Ranchers in Texas have been forced to slaughter huge numbers of cattle because the drought has made it incredibly difficult to feed them. Sadly, the number of U.S. cattle is now down to its lowest level since 1963.
You might want to stock up on beef. In the coming months the price of beef is likely to go significantly higher.
It is hard to describe just how bad things are down in Texas right now. Overall, it is estimated that the drought has caused more than $5 billion in damage to the agricultural industry so far.
But wait, there is more bad news. In fact, if things don't improve soon we could see massive problems with winter wheat. Just check out what an article recently posted on Yahoo news had to say....
The bad news does not stop there. Winter-wheat-planting season runs from September through October and rain is vital to germination. Texas and Oklahoma produce almost a third of winter wheat in the U.S. - the hard wheat used in bread products. This week, Bloomberg financial news quoted wheat economists predicting a 50% jump in winter-wheat prices. If the dearth of rain continues and there is no moisture in the soil to germinate the wheat, prices could climb higher still.
Flooding In The Northeast
We just got done with Hurricane Irene, and now Tropical Storm Lee is dumping huge amounts of rain all over the northeast United States. In fact, there has been so much rain up in Pennsylvania that more than 100,000 people were evacuated from the Wilkes-Barre area on Thursday because of rising waters on the Susquehanna River.
Rivers and creeks all over Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey are flooding. The region desperately needs a break from rain, but it does not look like that is going to happen quite yet.
The big problem is that many of these areas had already been hit really hard by Hurricane Irene. As a result of Hurricane Irene, millions of people lost power and dozens of people lost their lives. Hurricane Irene caused the worst flooding that Vermont had experienced since 1927, and the total economic damage from Irene could reach as high as $16 billion.
Now there are three more storms in the Atlantic that we will have to keep an eye on. Hopefully Tropical Storm Nate, Tropical Storm Maria and Hurricane Katia will not cause major problems, but with the way this year has been going you never know what is going to happen.
Disturbing Earthquakes
As I have written about previously, the number of major earthquakes around the globe is significantly increasing. Back in 2001, the world had 1361 earthquakes of magnitude-5.0 or greater. This year, we are on pace to have over 2800, which would be the highest number this decade by far.
Just a couple of weeks ago, the U.S. experienced two of the weirdest earthquakes that it has seen in ages. The earthquake in Virginia that made headlines all over the nation is being called a "once a century" earthquake. The east coast very rarely sees anything like this happen.
The earthquake in Virginia was felt all the way down in Georgia and it was felt all the way up in Ottawa, Canada. It was felt as far west as Cleveland, Ohio.
In Washington D.C., the earthquake caused quite a bit of panic. Congressional buildings were evacuated and so was the Pentagon. The earthquake actually cracked the Washington Monument and it also caused significant damage to the U.S. Treasury building.
That exact same day, there was another very "unusual" earthquake in another area of the United States. A magnitude-5.3 earthquake shook the area along the Colorado/New Mexico border. That was the largest earthquake that region had experienced in more than 40 years.
Sadly, it is not just the U.S. that has been hit by significant earthquakes this year. Just check out what a recent article in the Guardian had to say about what has been going on around the globe so far this year....
6.2 or above earthquakes have hit New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan, the Fox Islands, Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Indonesia, Fiji, Thailand, Burma, Vanuatu, Argentina, Chile and Iran in the first six months of 2011.
Tornadoes
With all of the other natural disasters that we have had recently, it is easy to forget that we just went through one of the worst tornado seasons of all time.
In a recent article, I discussed the incredible damage that some of these monstrous tornadoes did....
The United States experienced a truly bizarre tornado season this year. In April, there were approximately 600 tornadoes all across America. That is the most tornadoes that have ever been recorded in a single month inside the United States. Usually, we only have about 1,200 tornadoes for the entire year.
The massive tornado outbreak in the southeast at the end of April is being called the worst natural disaster since Hurricane Katrina. One F5 tornado that ripped through the Tuscaloosa, Alabama region was reportedly a mile wide and some scientists estimated that it had winds that exceeded 260 miles an hour. By the time it passed, Tuscaloosa resembled a war zone.
The tornado that ripped through Joplin, Missouri a few months ago is being called the deadliest single tornado in more than 60 years. It ripped a path of destruction more than a mile wide and more than 6 miles long directly through the city. After viewing pictures such as those, what else is there to say?
Sadly, there were a lot of other major disasters this year that deserve be discussed as well.
For example, I have not even mentioned the nightmarish flooding along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. River systems all over the central part of the country experienced "hundred year floods" this year.
So why is all of this happening? Is there a reason for all of this chaos, or has it just been one of those years?
Whatever your opinion is, what we all should be able to learn from this year is that it is imperative that we all get prepared ahead of time for emergencies.
Natural disasters can strike at any time. Whether it is a hurricane, a tornado, a flood, an earthquake, a volcano or a wildfire, if you wait until the disaster strikes to prepare then you are going to be too late.
But most natural disasters are only temporary. Even more frightening is what an economic collapse, a war, a deadly plague, a nuclear disaster, an EMP strike or a weapon of mass destruction could mean.
As we have seen during so many disasters in the past, when something really bad happens food and supplies vanish from store shelves almost immediately. If transportation is cut off, you could be on your own for an extended period of time.
Our world is becoming a highly unstable place. If someone had told you all of the crazy things that were going to happen this year, would you have believed them?
It seems like with each passing year things are getting crazier and crazier. Yes, we can all hope that things will return to "normal", but we would be foolish if we also did not take precautions.
As I have written about before, the global economy is starting to collapse, the fabric of society is coming apart and the earth itself seems to be going crazy.
We certainly do live in interesting times. The years ahead promise to be some of the most exciting in human history. But those that are unprepared could end up going through a massive amount of pain.
So please prepare while there is still time. You will not always be able to run out to Wal-Mart and buy up all of the cheap stuff that you need.
Anyone with half a brain can see the dark storm clouds gathering on the horizon. Very, very difficult times are coming, and you do not want to enter them unprepared.

Thankfully, the U.S. has not experienced a disaster on the level of Hurricane Katrina so far this year, but what makes this year different is that we have never seen so many major disasters happen so rapidly. Since the beginning of the year we have had to deal with record-setting winter storms, nightmarish tornadoes, "once in a century" earthquakes, historic flooding all over the country, severe drought and some of the worst wildfires the U.S. has ever experienced.
Is there a reason why the United States is being hit by major disaster after major disaster or is all of this just a really unfortunately coincidence? The following are just a few of the nightmarish natural disasters that the U.S. has had to deal with so far this year.....
Texas Wildfires
At this point, the state of Texas has been on fire for nearly 300 consecutive days. This has been the worst wildfire season that Texas has ever experienced.
So far, an astounding 3.6 million acres has been burned. Vast stretches of Texas have been transformed into desolate wastelands.
Over the past week alone, the Texas Forest Service has responded to more than 180 new fires. The incredibly dry weather and the scorching temperatures have combined to turn the state of Texas into a tinderbox.
One massive wildfire near Austin, Texas has burned approximately 1,400 homes and continues to spread. The state desperately needs rain and it needs it now.

Historic Drought
Right now, approximately 81 percent of the state of Texas is experiencing "exceptional drought" conditions. Not only has this created an ideal environment for wildfires, it is also absolutely crippling ranchers and farmers.
Farmers in Texas have lost over half of the cotton crop so far. This is likely to cause clothing prices to rise substantially in the months ahead.
Ranchers in Texas have been forced to slaughter huge numbers of cattle because the drought has made it incredibly difficult to feed them. Sadly, the number of U.S. cattle is now down to its lowest level since 1963.
You might want to stock up on beef. In the coming months the price of beef is likely to go significantly higher.
It is hard to describe just how bad things are down in Texas right now. Overall, it is estimated that the drought has caused more than $5 billion in damage to the agricultural industry so far.
But wait, there is more bad news. In fact, if things don't improve soon we could see massive problems with winter wheat. Just check out what an article recently posted on Yahoo news had to say....
The bad news does not stop there. Winter-wheat-planting season runs from September through October and rain is vital to germination. Texas and Oklahoma produce almost a third of winter wheat in the U.S. - the hard wheat used in bread products. This week, Bloomberg financial news quoted wheat economists predicting a 50% jump in winter-wheat prices. If the dearth of rain continues and there is no moisture in the soil to germinate the wheat, prices could climb higher still.
Flooding In The Northeast
We just got done with Hurricane Irene, and now Tropical Storm Lee is dumping huge amounts of rain all over the northeast United States. In fact, there has been so much rain up in Pennsylvania that more than 100,000 people were evacuated from the Wilkes-Barre area on Thursday because of rising waters on the Susquehanna River.
Rivers and creeks all over Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey are flooding. The region desperately needs a break from rain, but it does not look like that is going to happen quite yet.
The big problem is that many of these areas had already been hit really hard by Hurricane Irene. As a result of Hurricane Irene, millions of people lost power and dozens of people lost their lives. Hurricane Irene caused the worst flooding that Vermont had experienced since 1927, and the total economic damage from Irene could reach as high as $16 billion.
Now there are three more storms in the Atlantic that we will have to keep an eye on. Hopefully Tropical Storm Nate, Tropical Storm Maria and Hurricane Katia will not cause major problems, but with the way this year has been going you never know what is going to happen.
Disturbing Earthquakes
As I have written about previously, the number of major earthquakes around the globe is significantly increasing. Back in 2001, the world had 1361 earthquakes of magnitude-5.0 or greater. This year, we are on pace to have over 2800, which would be the highest number this decade by far.
Just a couple of weeks ago, the U.S. experienced two of the weirdest earthquakes that it has seen in ages. The earthquake in Virginia that made headlines all over the nation is being called a "once a century" earthquake. The east coast very rarely sees anything like this happen.
The earthquake in Virginia was felt all the way down in Georgia and it was felt all the way up in Ottawa, Canada. It was felt as far west as Cleveland, Ohio.
In Washington D.C., the earthquake caused quite a bit of panic. Congressional buildings were evacuated and so was the Pentagon. The earthquake actually cracked the Washington Monument and it also caused significant damage to the U.S. Treasury building.
That exact same day, there was another very "unusual" earthquake in another area of the United States. A magnitude-5.3 earthquake shook the area along the Colorado/New Mexico border. That was the largest earthquake that region had experienced in more than 40 years.
Sadly, it is not just the U.S. that has been hit by significant earthquakes this year. Just check out what a recent article in the Guardian had to say about what has been going on around the globe so far this year....
6.2 or above earthquakes have hit New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan, the Fox Islands, Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Indonesia, Fiji, Thailand, Burma, Vanuatu, Argentina, Chile and Iran in the first six months of 2011.
Tornadoes
With all of the other natural disasters that we have had recently, it is easy to forget that we just went through one of the worst tornado seasons of all time.

The United States experienced a truly bizarre tornado season this year. In April, there were approximately 600 tornadoes all across America. That is the most tornadoes that have ever been recorded in a single month inside the United States. Usually, we only have about 1,200 tornadoes for the entire year.
The massive tornado outbreak in the southeast at the end of April is being called the worst natural disaster since Hurricane Katrina. One F5 tornado that ripped through the Tuscaloosa, Alabama region was reportedly a mile wide and some scientists estimated that it had winds that exceeded 260 miles an hour. By the time it passed, Tuscaloosa resembled a war zone.
The tornado that ripped through Joplin, Missouri a few months ago is being called the deadliest single tornado in more than 60 years. It ripped a path of destruction more than a mile wide and more than 6 miles long directly through the city. After viewing pictures such as those, what else is there to say?
Sadly, there were a lot of other major disasters this year that deserve be discussed as well.
For example, I have not even mentioned the nightmarish flooding along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. River systems all over the central part of the country experienced "hundred year floods" this year.
So why is all of this happening? Is there a reason for all of this chaos, or has it just been one of those years?
