Indiana Parents Told Drop Disabled Kids at Shelters

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana's budget crunch has become so severe that some state workers have suggested leaving severely disabled people at homeless shelters if they can't be cared for at home, parents and advocates said.
They said workers at Indiana's Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services have told parents that's one option they have when families can no longer care for children at home and haven't received Medicaid waivers that pay for services that support disabled people living independently.
Marcus Barlow, a spokesman for the Family and Social Services Administration, the umbrella agency that includes the bureau, said suggesting homeless shelters is not the agency's policy and workers who did so would be disciplined.
However, Becky Holladay of Battle Ground, Ind., said that's exactly what happened to her when she called to ask about the waiver she's seeking for her 22-year-old son, Cameron Dunn, who has epilepsy, autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Holladay, a school nurse, said she and her husband would go bankrupt trying to pay for services themselves, so Cameron spends most days sitting in his stepfather's truck while he works as a municipal employee.
"It's heart-wrenching as a parent to watch it. We are people and they are people," Holladay said, referring to her son and others with disabilities. "They have lives that are worth something."
There have been no confirmed cases of families dumping severely disabled people at homeless shelters because Indiana wouldn't provide the care needed.
But some families have been on waiting lists for waivers for 10 years. The lists contained more than 20,000 names last month, and one advocacy group predicted they will only grow longer because Gov. Mitch Daniels ordered budget cuts that have eliminated 2,000 waiver slots since July.
Budget cuts also have resulted in the state moving foster children with disabilities to a lower cost program that doesn't provide services for special needs and eliminating a grocery benefit for hundreds of developmentally disabled adults.
Kim Dodson, associate executive director of The Arc of Indiana, said her group has received reports of state workers in several of BDDS's eight regional offices telling families to take disabled adults to homeless shelters. She speculated that the suggestion resulted from frustration among BDDS staff as families become more outspoken about the effects of state cuts.
"It is something we are hearing from all over the state, that families are being told this is an alternative for them," Dodson said. "A homeless shelter would never be able to serve these people."
State lawmakers said they also have received reports from several people who were told they could always abandon their adult children at homeless shelters.
Rep. Suzanne Crouch, R-Evansville, said she found it "deplorable that people are being told to go to a homeless shelter."
Leaders of several agencies serving homeless people across Indiana could not be reached for comment after business hours Wednesday.
Some parents said homeless shelters have also been suggested — or threatened — as an option by private care providers.
Daunna Minnich of Bloomington said Indiana Department of Education funding for residential treatment for her 18-year-old daughter, Sabrina, is due to run out Sunday. She said officials at Damar Services Inc. of Indianapolis told her during a meeting that unless she took Sabrina home with her, the agency would drop the teen off at a homeless shelter.
Sabrina, who's bipolar and has anxiety attacks, has attempted suicide, run away during home visits and threatened her older sister, Minnich said. Bringing Sabrina home isn't a viable option, but the two group home placements BDDS offered weren't appropriate, she said.
"I don't want to see the state of Indiana hasten her demise by putting her in a one-size-fits-all solution that will drive her to desperate acts," Minnich said.
Jim Dalton, Damar's chief operating officer, said he could not comment directly on any specific case but his nonprofit would never leave a client at a homeless shelter — even though it is caring for some for free after they got too old for school-funded services and haven't yet been granted Medicaid waivers.
"We're talking about youth that absolutely require services, and no one is willing to fund them anymore," Dalton said.

If You Want To Board An Airplane In America You Now Have Two Options: Let Airport Security Gawk At Your Exposed Body Or Let Airport Security Feel You Up

In America today, we have become so spooked by "terror threats" that now we will submit to just about anything in the name of security. At this point, we are allowing ourselves to be treated as little more than cattle. Procedures that would once be considered an affront to human dignity are now accepted as "the new normal". If you want to get on an airplane in America today, you must either go through one of the incredibly intrusive full body scanners that are going into all U.S. airports and let airport security gawk at your exposed body, or you must allow airport security to feel you up using the new "enhanced pat-down" techniques they are being instructed to employ. As you will see below, these new pat-down procedures are incredibly intrusive. If anyone tried to touch us like that out on the street they would be put in prison. But this is the new America where all of us must give up all of our privacy and all of our dignity just so that everyone can feel a little bit safer.
Up until this week, many Americans were not that concerned about the new full body security scanners going into airports across the nation because they still had the alternative of opting for a minimally intrusive pat-down. But now that has all changed. It turns out that too many Americans were opting for the pat-down, so now the TSA is rolling out their new "enhanced pat-down" procedures.
Previously, airport security officials used the backs of their hands to pat down passengers, but now they are being required to use the fronts of their hands. This includes directly touching some body parts that would just receive only a quick brush over with the back of the hand before.
A recent story by ABC News featured an expert explaining what these changes will mean for a female passenger....
"You go down the body and up to the breast portion," said Charles Slepian of the Foreseeable Risk Analysis Center. "If it's a female passenger, you're going to see if there's anything in the bra."
These new procedures are so highly intrusive that even those who work for the mainstream media are starting to seriously complain.
For example, CNN employee Rosemary Fitzpatrick was absolutely horrified when she was recently patted-down by airport security. According to her, the airport security official ran her hands around her breasts, over her stomach, buttocks and her inner thighs, and even touched her most private areas. The following is how Fitzpatrick described how she felt about the experience to CNN....
"As an experienced traveler for work who was in tears for most of the search process, I have never experienced a more traumatic and invasive travel event!"
But if you want to get on a plane in America today, this is the kind of thing you are going to have to go through. Nobody is exempt.
For example, an airline pilot based in Memphis who recently refused both the enhanced pat-down and the full body scan was barred from flying.
Things are getting completely and totally ridiculous. The following is an ABC video news report about these new enhanced pat-downs....
Many Americans will avoid these enhanced pat-downs by going through the new full body security scanners that are going into all U.S. airports. In fact, millions of Americans will soon regard walking through these new scanners to be just as "normal" as going through metal detectors. But what many Americans will not realize is that they are being absolutely blasted by dangerous levels of radiation and that these scanners create "photo-realistic" pictures of the exposed bodies of the people who pass through them.
These scanners even reveal intimate medical details such as colostomy bags and mastectomy scars.
Do you really want gawking security guards to have the exposed images of your wife and children permanently embedded into their memories as they walk through these scanners?
I apologize for being so graphic, but it is important for everyone to know exactly what is at stake here.
According to a BBC report, this kind of thing is already going on. Security workers are mostly young adults, and when they see exposed bodies they are going to be tempted to stare.
Not only that, but do you really want millions of pregnant women to have their babies absolutely showered with high levels of radiation as they pass through these machines?
In addition, it has come out that these new full body scanners have the capability to store and transmit images. You never know, one day a picture of you might end up on the Internet.
What is at stake in all of this is our very way of life. When we allow threats, whether "real" or "imaginary", to alter our lives so much that we are willing to give up all dignity and all privacy, then we have lost. In a previous article entitled "The Open Society Is Dying" I commented on this creeping loss of our freedoms and what it means for our future....
Once upon a time, the United States was a place where you felt like you had almost unlimited freedom. You could get in your car and travel from coast to coast without anyone hassling you. You could do any type of work you wanted - or even not work at all if that is what suited you. You could say whatever you wanted to say and associate with whoever you wanted to associate with. You could write mail without fearing that the government would read it and you could make phone calls without fearing that the government was listening in. It was a place where freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion and freedom of movement were respected and protected. But over the past couple of decades (and especially since 9/11), things have been fundamentally changing in America. The American Dream used to be about liberty and freedom, but now it seems to be all about giving up our liberty and freedom for safety and security. Today, tens of millions of frightened Americans are cheering as the U.S. government implements Big Brother security measures that are so extreme that they would have made even Stalin, Hitler and Mao cringe. But it is not just in America where the open society is dying. It is literally happening all over the globe. In a world where real and imagined terrorism is perceived to be the greatest threat, governments are increasingly feeling the need to watch, track, trace and control everyone and everything.
The America that we all used to know and love is dying. The sad truth is that America is no longer the home of the free. The mainstream media tells us that security is preferable to freedom and we believe them.
Yes, there are always going to be very serious dangers out there in the world, but if we constantly cower before these dangers we will forget what it is to really live.
Privacy and freedom are not easy to get back once they have been totally stripped away. It is absolutely imperative that we all remember that.

We have all watched in predicted horror as the financial infrastructure of America has been disassembled in a predetermined fashion by the likes of Goldman Sachs, the Federal Reserve and other Globalists. There are a variety of reasons why this is happening, none of which we have the power to change or alter in time to save us. Therefore, I will focus on what is to come and how we might handle it in order to survive it.
With the Federal Reserve actually suggesting that inflation might be the cure to the weak economy, massive unemployment numbers and a crashing dollar, one has to stop and ponder. The chairman of the Fed, Ben Bernanke, was a child prodigy, scored a near perfect SAT score, focused his studies around the Great Depression and is a statistical genius. So why is he so willing to abuse the Dollar and essentially sign the death warrant for America?
For several years, many prominent people have been predicting this exact scenario. Gerald Celente, Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and others including the Web Bots Project, have detailed how this orchestrated financial implosion will occur. Many of these “predictions” or trends analysis are from late 2009 or early 2010. Most, if not all, are eerily starting to come true.

First 6 months of 2010, Americans will continue to live in the 'unreality' . . . the period between July and October is when the financial fireworks will begin. The Fed will act unilaterally for its own survival irrespective of any political implications. In the last quarter of the year we could even see Martial law, which is more likely for the first 6 months of 2011. Wall Street believes there is a 100% chance of crash in bond market, especially municipals sometime during 2010. The dollar will be devalued by the end of 2010.

Have projected that the third and final stage of the economic collapse will begin sometime in 2010. Barring some kind of financial miracle, or the complete dissolution of the Federal Reserve, a snowballing implosion should become visible by the end of this year. The behavior of the Fed, along with that of the IMF seems to suggest that they are preparing for a focused collapse, peaking within weeks or months instead of years, and the most certain fall of the dollar.

ORCHESTRATED MELTDOWN & THE TEA PARTY
By controlling the flow and direction of money, they are free to do as they please. A simple “divide and conquer” masquerade is offered for the peasants to consume and become distracted by. Every week, a new diversion is offered – President Obama’s birth certificate, Republican vs. Democrat, Dancing with the Stars, Christine O’Donnell is a witch, or Lindsey Lohan enters drug rehab yet again.
The current “Tea Party” is a prime example of this divide & conquer attempt. It should be noted, the Republican tea parties and the original Campaign for Liberty are nothing alike. In 2007 and 2008, Ron Paul followers began a massive grassroots movement which spread like a wildfire across angry voters on both sides of the aisle. Liberals and Conservatives stood next to each other while greeting Moderates and Extremists. Many apathetic, disillusioned voters were so moved by the passionate speeches of Ron Paul that they began to become heavily involved in politics. An attempt to Audit the Fed was a centerpiece, knowing that the Federal Reserve is one of the “men behind the green curtain.” An unprecedented partnership was formed across the spectrum and the movement grew loud, demanding accountability, transparency, more freedom and an end to the current wars.
Fearing the worst, agents of the globalist banking cartel went into action. As Rahm Emanuel, the White House spokesman, said: “You can’t let a good crisis go to waste….a crisis allows you to do things you wouldn’t otherwise be able to do.” (Such as the Patriot Act and occupying multiple countries?) They moved their diversion tactics into high gear, with commentators on MSNBC and FOX appealing for patriotic “tea parties” across the country to unite against the banking bailout and stimulus package offered by Obama. They did this knowing that no amount of ranting and raving by citizens would change anything and they could be left in peace to continue the takeover while the peasants waved signs and yelled at Congress.
In order for this takeover to succeed, they had to first destabilize any real resistance. They immediately began shifting Ron Paul into the fringe category, denied him access to the primary debates and waged classic Gestapo-like warfare on the citizens who were starting to wake up. The Southern Poverty Law Center, who now partially operates under the auspice of the Department of Homeland Security, began to demonize so-called Patriots and Constitutionalists. They needed to make sure that the wave of Ron Paul supporters – the ones who were awake and aware of who the enemy truly was – could be silenced or ignored. They began to label Constitutionalists and Libertarians as “extremists” and categorized them as violent militia members. This attempt went so far as to have the Missouri Intelligence Center issue a report clearly stating that vehicles displaying a Ron Paul sticker or supporters of Bob Barr, Barry Goldwater and others should be approached with caution during traffic stops, propping up the fear mongering in the law enforcement world where it could be put to good use by obediant police officers.
They knew these patriots, along with many 2nd amendment activists, disgruntled military veterans and Libertarians would be the first to resist. And so they had to run a few headlines on the mainstream media in order to encourage moderates not to listen to them or join their ranks.
Groups such as "FreedomWorks" and the Tea Party Express began popping up all over the radar. These were self-described groups of Tea Partiers but failed to have any ties to Ron Paul or the initial liberty movement. In fact, many of those attending the rallies were George Bush loyalists, classic war-mongering Neocons and Corporate Republicans railing against the man. It quickly became apparent that these groups were funded and started by shady, wealthy individuals with a political agenda who sought to capitalize on the growing movement with no respect to its origins.
The groups began propping up the likes of Sarah Palin as their mascot and focused on minor, trivial issues at rallies across the country. They offered stereotypical sound bytes for mass media consumption and stagnate the political process with rhetoric about the welfare state, immigration and Obama. The real enemies are now left to their own devices on Wall Street as the peasants fight among themselves over religion, gay marriage, and what Arab country should be invaded next.
This has been my own experience at a recent gun show and several tea party rallies. Everyone I talked to said the same things, “That socialist Obama is wrecking the economy and the illegal immigrants are going to bankrupt us! We need to throw the Democrats out of Congress and take over so we can make real change!” This was literally the same thing that over a dozen “patriots” said to me, completely oblivious to the fact that while illegal immigration is a major problem and does cost a lot of money, it is a penny in the bucket compared to what Wall Street and the multi-national corporations are doing to us. They fail to realize that the banking cartel owns both the Republicans and Democrats. The globalists own the media, the newspapers, the “fair and balanced” talk shows and more. Glenn Beck said it best,
“I could give a flying crap about the political process.” Making money, on the other hand, is to be taken very seriously, and controversy is its own coinage. “We’re an entertainment company,” Beck says.
Carroll Quigley, the unofficial historian for the Globalists and Elites, said in his book Tragedy and Hope: “The two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.” It should be no surprise to anyone, of course, that during his tenure as a professor at Georgetown in the 1960s, Quigley became the mentor to a young Bill Clinton.
So as more and more voters flock to these false tea party affiliate groups, their “voter angst” is quickly satiated by the waving of a Gadsden flag and yelling some coin-phrase about Socialism, all the while no real harm has come to the establishment and Wall Street. The Globalists are free to sit back and laugh at the serfs as they complete their exit strategy, pilfering every last cent they can muster.
To use an analogy: we’re all on the Titanic with the White House at the helm of the ship. The Globalists and banking cartel know there is an iceberg ahead – in fact, they placed it directly in our path in order to speed up the sinking process while they continued to sell worthless tickets to the life rafts. Obama, like so many Presidents before him, was promised a VIP seat in the executive’s life boat. But being used by the elites doesn’t seem to bother him in the slightest. No, in fact, he happily sold his soul in order to be the first black President and make history. I suppose we all have our price. (There is also a long, sordid past involving his mother working for multiple CIA front organizations [micro-financing, accounting, loans, etc] and meeting his biological father in a Russian speaking class at the University of Hawaii . . . but that’s for another time and another article.)

In 2007 and 2008, Ron Paul followers began a massive grassroots movement which spread like a wildfire across angry voters on both sides of the aisle. Liberals and Conservatives stood next to each other while greeting Moderates and Extremists. Many apathetic, disillusioned voters were so moved by the passionate speeches of Ron Paul that they began to become heavily involved in politics. An attempt to Audit the Fed was a centerpiece, knowing that the Federal Reserve is one of the “men behind the green curtain.” An unprecedented partnership was formed across the spectrum and the movement grew loud, demanding accountability, transparency, more freedom and an end to the current wars.
Fearing the worst, agents of the globalist banking cartel went into action. As Rahm Emanuel, the White House spokesman, said: “You can’t let a good crisis go to waste….a crisis allows you to do things you wouldn’t otherwise be able to do.” (Such as the Patriot Act and occupying multiple countries?) They moved their diversion tactics into high gear, with commentators on MSNBC and FOX appealing for patriotic “tea parties” across the country to unite against the banking bailout and stimulus package offered by Obama. They did this knowing that no amount of ranting and raving by citizens would change anything and they could be left in peace to continue the takeover while the peasants waved signs and yelled at Congress.
In order for this takeover to succeed, they had to first destabilize any real resistance. They immediately began shifting Ron Paul into the fringe category, denied him access to the primary debates and waged classic Gestapo-like warfare on the citizens who were starting to wake up. The Southern Poverty Law Center, who now partially operates under the auspice of the Department of Homeland Security, began to demonize so-called Patriots and Constitutionalists. They needed to make sure that the wave of Ron Paul supporters – the ones who were awake and aware of who the enemy truly was – could be silenced or ignored. They began to label Constitutionalists and Libertarians as “extremists” and categorized them as violent militia members. This attempt went so far as to have the Missouri Intelligence Center issue a report clearly stating that vehicles displaying a Ron Paul sticker or supporters of Bob Barr, Barry Goldwater and others should be approached with caution during traffic stops, propping up the fear mongering in the law enforcement world where it could be put to good use by obediant police officers.
They knew these patriots, along with many 2nd amendment activists, disgruntled military veterans and Libertarians would be the first to resist. And so they had to run a few headlines on the mainstream media in order to encourage moderates not to listen to them or join their ranks.
Groups such as "FreedomWorks" and the Tea Party Express began popping up all over the radar. These were self-described groups of Tea Partiers but failed to have any ties to Ron Paul or the initial liberty movement. In fact, many of those attending the rallies were George Bush loyalists, classic war-mongering Neocons and Corporate Republicans railing against the man. It quickly became apparent that these groups were funded and started by shady, wealthy individuals with a political agenda who sought to capitalize on the growing movement with no respect to its origins.
The groups began propping up the likes of Sarah Palin as their mascot and focused on minor, trivial issues at rallies across the country. They offered stereotypical sound bytes for mass media consumption and stagnate the political process with rhetoric about the welfare state, immigration and Obama. The real enemies are now left to their own devices on Wall Street as the peasants fight among themselves over religion, gay marriage, and what Arab country should be invaded next.
This has been my own experience at a recent gun show and several tea party rallies. Everyone I talked to said the same things, “That socialist Obama is wrecking the economy and the illegal immigrants are going to bankrupt us! We need to throw the Democrats out of Congress and take over so we can make real change!” This was literally the same thing that over a dozen “patriots” said to me, completely oblivious to the fact that while illegal immigration is a major problem and does cost a lot of money, it is a penny in the bucket compared to what Wall Street and the multi-national corporations are doing to us. They fail to realize that the banking cartel owns both the Republicans and Democrats. The globalists own the media, the newspapers, the “fair and balanced” talk shows and more. Glenn Beck said it best,
“I could give a flying crap about the political process.” Making money, on the other hand, is to be taken very seriously, and controversy is its own coinage. “We’re an entertainment company,” Beck says.

It is unclear how this will work but in this article of the Folha de Sao Paulo says the Denatran (Transit National Department) will oversee the center, and that it will be operated by Serpro (organ of government for data processing). This means that the brazilian government can access the location of any car registered in the country!

To circumvent the criticisms of those who claim lack of privacy, which has led the discussion to the judicial arena, the Minister Marcio Fortes says there will be two options: the tracker and blocker. This will make the car stop in a given situation, for example if the thief stops at traffic lights, and will be mandatory. In the other hand, the GPS tracker will be contracted or not by the user.
The implications of this? Imagine this in the hands of a corrupt and totalitarian government, which decides to label as terrorists those who disagree with its actions? Brazilian should unite and reject this law, modeled on the American war on terror, using security as pretext for the removal of our freedoms and privacy.

I had read some time ago in Portugal that the cars would be required to have RFID chip (radio frequency) identification and was stunned by that. What was my surprise to learn that since 2006 we have a law that creates the Siniav, or National System for Automatic Vehicle Identification, which will require the installation of identification chips in all cars and maintain a network of reading antennas, which will identify every vehicle.
Resolution of No 212 of 13 November 2006, says:
SINIAV consists of electronic boards installed in the vehicle, antennas, readers, data processing centers and computer systems.
And goes on saing that militar vehicles are not required to use but all other motor vehicles will have to be equipped with the chip:
§ 2 The use of military vehicles are exempt from this requirement.
Article 2 No motor vehicle, electrical, trailer and semi-trailer can be licensed on roads open to traffic without being equipped with the electronic board of this resolution.
According to the engineer Dario Thorbe, data is encrypted and confidential, and will be accessible only the traffic department and eventually the police. Ahhhhh, ok then, now I feel so safe!

I had read some time ago in Portugal that the cars would be required to have RFID chip (radio frequency) identification and was stunned by that. What was my surprise to learn that since 2006 we have a law that creates the Siniav, or National System for Automatic Vehicle Identification, which will require the installation of identification chips in all cars and maintain a network of reading antennas, which will identify every vehicle.
Resolution of No 212 of 13 November 2006, says:
SINIAV consists of electronic boards installed in the vehicle, antennas, readers, data processing centers and computer systems.
And goes on saing that militar vehicles are not required to use but all other motor vehicles will have to be equipped with the chip:
§ 2 The use of military vehicles are exempt from this requirement.
Article 2 No motor vehicle, electrical, trailer and semi-trailer can be licensed on roads open to traffic without being equipped with the electronic board of this resolution.
According to the engineer Dario Thorbe, data is encrypted and confidential, and will be accessible only the traffic department and eventually the police. Ahhhhh, ok then, now I feel so safe!
Again the state using the pretext of security for the people to accept totalitarian measures. Gradually we are seeing around us the government, putting in place tools that will allow a micro-managing the lives of all citizens. Close to what we have at some time in Brazil, 1984 will be pretty easy.

Why Is Indiana Putting Armed Security Guards Into 36 Unemployment Offices Across The State?

Did you ever think that things in America would get so bad that we would need to put armed guards into our unemployment offices? Well, that is exactly what is happening in Indiana. Armed security guards will now be posted at all 36 full-service unemployment offices in the state of Indiana. So why is this happening now? Well, Indiana Department of Workforce Development spokesman Marc Lotter says that the agency is bringing in the extra security in anticipation of an upcoming deadline when thousands upon thousands of Indiana residents could have their unemployment benefits cut off. But it is not just the state of Indiana that could have a problem. In fact, one recent study found that approximately 2 million Americans will lose their unemployment insurance benefits during this upcoming holiday season unless Congress authorizes another emergency extension of benefits by the end of November. At this point, however, that is looking less and less likely.
So perhaps all the states will have to start putting armed security guards in their unemployment offices. The truth is that frustration among unemployed Americans is growing by the day.
Could we soon see economic riots similar to what we have seen in Greece and France?
Let's hope not.

Unfortunately, as the U.S. economy goes downhill even further, the amount of security that people feel is "necessary" is likely to go up even more.
So is America going to become an armed camp where the people and institutions with money are protected by armed guards from the hordes of frustrated unemployed workers that can't feed themselves or their families?
Americans are certainly not in a good mood about the economy. According to a recent poll conducted by CNBC, 92 percent of Americans believe that the performance of the U.S. economy is either "fair" or "poor".
The lack of jobs is the main thing that the American people are so mad about. In fact, it is hard for even highly educated people to find work in 2010. In America today, 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees.
People are really hurting and they are getting to the end of their ropes. Over 41 million Americans are now on food stamps, and one out of every six Americans is enrolled in at least one federal anti-poverty program. It is getting hard to believe that this is even America anymore. But it is not just unemployment that is the problem. In recent years, millions upon millions of Americans have been forced to take reduced hours or a cut in pay due to the economy. Millions of others have had to take jobs that barely enable them to survive. In fact, the number of Americans working part-time jobs "for economic reasons" is now the highest it has been in at least five decades.
So why aren't there even close to enough jobs for everyone? Well, there are a number of contributing factors, including the fact that we have been "offshoring" and "outsourcing" millions of our jobs and now it is really starting to catch up with us. I have discussed this so many times now that I am starting to sound like a broken record.
But instead of fixing the fundamental problems with our economy, the Federal Reserve wants to print yet another gigantic pile of paper money and throw it at the problem. It is called "quantitative easing", and it may help smooth things over for a few months, but it is also going to make our long-term problems even worse.
Unfortunately, the Federal Reserve does not really seem concerned about protecting the value of the U.S. dollar at this point. Not that they ever did, but it would be nice to see Fed officials paying at least some lip service to the dangers of inflation.
Instead, various Fed officials have been publicly making statements about the need for more quantitative easing for weeks. Right now they seem desperate to put the American people back to work - even if it ends up crashing the value of the dollar.
But now even the IMF seems supportive of a dollar devaluation. On Thursday, the IMF actually said that the U.S. dollar is "overvalued" and that adjustments need to be made.
We'll see what the Fed decides to do next week. Most analysts believe that they will announce a quantitative easing program of some sort or another.
But what have we come to as a nation when those who control our economy believe that the best solution to our economic problems is to print another big pile of paper money and chuck it into the system?
We've got an absolutely gigantic economic mess on our hands, and none of our "leaders" seem to have any idea about how to fix it.
Meanwhile, millions of unemployed Americans are just going to become more and more frustrated - especially when it gets to the point when they aren't receiving unemployment checks anymore.

Fort McRae Oil Very Toxic to Humans
Lab results confirm that oil discovered in Pensacola Bay last month has extreme toxicity levels.

Test results are in for oil material found in Pensacola Bay late last month, and the numbers are frightening.
A lab experienced in testing petroleum products determined that the oil’s toxicity levels are sky-high.
“In its natural state, the numbers are off the chart,” said Heather Reed, the environmental expert for the City of Gulf Breeze who made the discovery. “It’s extremely toxic to human health.”
Lab workers had to dilute the sample 20 times just to get a reading. Reed said samples are usually diluted only once.
“The oil is very well preserved,” Reed added. “It smells very strong when pulled out of the water. It made me nauseated.” Reed in late September discovered a significant amount of oil buried in submerged sediment near Fort McRae in Escambia County while conducting independent research.
“The oil was in about 3 feet of water and was buried pretty deep in the sediment,” Reed recalled. “The mats where between 6 inches and a foot in diameter, but some were more than 2 feet in diameter. I kept digging and finding more and more.
“Finding this submerged oil is very alarming to me because it’s in such large mats,” Reed explained. “I believe it came into (the bay) in June with the initial impacts.”
Reed on Sept. 30 revisited the site and another near Barrancas Beach with BP and Coast Guard officials to inform responders of her discovery. She also discovered oil present at Johnson Beach, Fort Pickens and Orange Beach through research she conducted in September.
The topography near Fort McRae helped preserve the submerged oil. Because the area is a secluded cove, very little water flows through it – resulting in low oxygen levels.
“(The oil) is in an anaerobic environment, so there is not a lot of bacteria to break it down,” Reed explained.
Reed said that similar samples that might possibly remain submerged in the Gulf of Mexico could be extremely damaging to the marine ecosystem.
“I am concerned about upwelling events,” Reed said. “Strong currents draw up nutrient rich water and sediment from the sea floor that nourishes plankton and other organisms that are the foundation of the marine food chain.
“If an upwelling event brings up any oil material with these toxicity levels, it could be harmful to any animals near the upwelling plume.”
Reed is unsure of the effects of the oil on the water quality near Fort McRae.
“The surface area is very large, and it gets pretty deep, so there could be a lot of dilution,” she said. “Because it sank and is submerged, it will stay there.
“I would not recommend going into the water.”
She explained that the effects near the beach would be different because of more aeration.
Though no oil has been reported on Gulf Breeze shores or in local bayous, those areas could be at risk.
“We don’t have any barriers, the Coastwatchers aren’t patrolling anymore, and there has been no communication to the city of this oil entering the bay,” Reed said.
If oil entered any of the Gulf Breeze bayous, Reed explained that it would sink and become submerged just as it had near Fort McRae.
“It would definitely sink and be preserved,” Reed said. “And it would be very difficult to find.”

$3,000 Fine Announced For Homeschooling

Officials in Sweden announced a $3,000 fine for a couple homeschooling their son then barred them from a court hearing on the dispute.
Word of the latest attack on parents dissatisfied with government-run public schools in the free world who choose to educate their own children comes from the Home School Legal Defense Association.
This week's report is about the 'R' family dispute with their local municipality, Partille, in southwestern Sweden.
Homeschooling in Sweden has been in the news in recent weeks with the Johansson case. Social workers had police officers forcibly take custody of Dominic Johanssona, who was being homeschooled while his parents prepared for a move to India. Most recently, a judge ruled social workers will continue to have custody of the boy.
The decision in the Johansson case by Judge Peter Freudenthal was reported by the Home School Legal Defense Association, which with the help of international attorneys working with the Alliance Defense Fund already has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights for help reuniting the family.
Dominic Johannson was seized from his parents June 25, 2009, because he was being homeschooled, had a few untreated cavities in his teeth and had not been given the latest vaccinations scheduled by the government.
Since then, he's been allowed a brief visit with his parents, sometimes five weeks apart, and at other times a brief, monitored telephone call.
In the newest case, the HSLDA said that the municipal officials rejected the family's request for homeschooling permission then ruled that the family should not get a court hearing to argue their case.
"This action ignores basic principles of fairness and due process that are well established in Western nations. This behavior asserts the power of the Swedish state in a way that is increasingly punitive toward those who deviate from the 'norm,'" an analysis of the case by HSLDA said.
The authorities had rejected the family's homeschool request last year "despite the fact that the 'R' family have successfully educated their son at home for the past six years."
"It appears that the municipality based this decision solely upon its prejudiced views of homeschooling as 'inadequate' and even 'harmful' to children. These views have been repeated in other judicial decisions in Sweden," the organization reported.
The fines stem from the government's orders to the family last year to put their son in school immediately and the parents' refusal to comply while they were arguing their case in court.
"Fines are for people who act illegally, not for law-abiding citizens," the 'R' family told the organization. "Our child is going to school. It would be different with parents who don't take their child to any school. That is where they can use fines."
Mike Donnelly, the HSLDA director of international affairs, said the municipality's "denial of the 'R' family' due process rights is the most recent action by Swedish officials that reveals a blatant agenda to persecute homeschoolers as a specific social group."
"These officials are attempting to take away basic due process rights like access to an impartial hearing for each denial of their rights. This practice of denying individuals their legal right to due process shows that Sweden is on a dangerous path heading towards tyranny," he said.
"By denying due process like this, Sweden has departed from a system of law that safeguards the rights of the individual," he said. "Both of these cases, and many others like these, call into question the basic fairness of the Swedish legal process. Decisions such as these, regarding homeschoolers and others where the state overpowers the rights of individuals to squelch 'dissent,' are frightening and echo Germany's treatment of homeschoolers," he said.
Germany is notorious in its treatment of homeschoolers as criminals, and the U.S. has granted asylum to a German homeschool family.

Most Americans still do not understand just how bad the economic horror we are facing really is. Today, millions of Americans are living as paupers in the land that their foreathers built even as America's infrastructure is literally being sold out from under their feet by corrupt politicians. The "official" unemployment rate in the United States has been at nine and a half percent or above for 14 consecutive months, and today it takes the average unemployed American about 35 weeks to find a job. However, the "official" unemployment rate is misleading, because it does not include workers that have quit looking for work or that have had their hours cut back to part-time. According to 60 Minutes, when you add those "discouraged workers" and "underemployed workers" into the equation the actual rate is about 17 percent, and in the state of California the actual rate is about 22 percent. Meanwhile, foreign nations are using sovereign wealth funds to buy up staggering amounts of U.S. infrastructure. America is quite literally for sale in 2010. All across the United States, highways, ports, toll roads and even parking meters are being gobbled up by foreign powers. We have shipped massive amounts of wealth and jobs to other nations, and now those very same countries are turning around and buying huge amounts of U.S. infrastructure with the gigantic piles of dollars that they have accumulated.
Widespread long-term chronic unemployment was something that America was never supposed to see again. Our leaders promised us that the U.S. financial system was so strong that we would never have another "Great Depression" in our lifetimes. But then the financial crisis of 2008 happened. Unprecedented numbers of Americans started losing their jobs and the U.S. Congress did something that it had never done before. Congress decided to extend unemployment benefits all the way out to 99 weeks.
Doing that has cost U.S. taxpayers approximately $100 billion dollars to this point, but we were promised that it was a "temporary" fix and that it would give displaced U.S. workers a chance to find new jobs.
Surely any industrious American worker could get another job within 99 weeks, right?
Wrong.

Sadly, as bad as that number sounds, it is likely to keep growing. Today, over one-third of all unemployed Americans have already been unemployed for at least one year. If this trend continues, we are going to end up with millions of "99ers".

Gallup's measure of unemployment, which is not adjusted for "seasonal factors", exhibited a sharp increase in the month of September. According to Gallup, unemployment has increased from 8.9% in July to 9.3% in August and to 10.1% in September.
In addition, the seasonally-adjusted "Alternate Unemployment Rate" compiled by Shadow Government Statistics also indicates that unemployment in the U.S. is going up once again. The Alternate Unemployment Rate calculated by SGS reflects estimated "long-term discouraged workers", which the U.S. government stopped keeping track of back in 1994....
But it is not just the massive number of Americans that are completely unemployed that we need to be concerned about. The truth is that more Americans than at any other time in recent history are working part-time jobs because that is all they can find. The number of Americans working part-time jobs "for economic reasons" is now the highest it has been in at least five decades.
Meanwhile, sovereign wealth funds from nations such as Saudi Arabia, China, Kuwait, Libya, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates are buying up highways, ports, toll roads and even parking meters from coast to coast.
So exactly what is a sovereign wealth fund?
Well, just think of it as a huge mountain of state-owned money that roams about the countryside looking for assets to gobble up.
In a recent piece for Rolling Stone, Matt Taibbi described some of the U.S. infrastructure assets that these sovereign wealth funds are buying up....
A toll highway in Indiana. The Chicago Skyway. A stretch of highway in Florida. Parking meters in Nashville, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, and other cities. A port in Virginia. And a whole bevy of Californian public infrastructure projects, all either already leased or set to be leased for fifty or seventy-five years or more in exchange for one-off lump sum payments of a few billion bucks at best, usually just to help patch a hole or two in a single budget year.
It turns out that U.S. politicians have figured out that they can help solve their budget problems by selling off or leasing out pieces of infrastructure. Foreign nations with money to burn have been glad to come in and start buying a lot of this infrastructure up. Today, it is estimated that the rest of the world currently owns several trillion dollars more of America than America owns of the rest of the world. Later on in his article, Taibbi noted that the trend toward selling off pieces of infrastructure only seems to be accelerating....
At this writing Nashville and Pittsburgh are speeding ahead with their own parking meter deals, as is L.A. New York has considered it, and the city of Miami just announced its own plans for a leasing deal. There are now highways, airports, parking garages, toll roads — almost everything you can think of that isn't nailed down and some things that are — for sale, to bidders unknown, around the world.
Sadly, both the number and the value of major acquisitions made by sovereign wealth funds approximately doubled during the first half of 2010.
Instead of being the "land of the free", we are rapidly becoming the "land that has been leased out to foreign nations".
So where in the world did these sovereign wealth funds get all this money?
Well, they got it from us of course.
Every single month, the United States buys massive amounts of oil from the Middle East and massive amounts of cheap plastic crap from China. The rest of the world buys a bunch of stuff from us too, but not nearly as much as we buy from the rest of the world.
So every single month tens of billions of dollars that used to belong to the American people ends up in the hands of foreigners. Now some of that money is returning to this country and is being used to buy up our infrastructure.
Many of these highways and toll roads that are being sold off had already been completely paid for. Can you imagine the frustration of the taxpayers in many of these areas when they realize that a road that they have already completely paid for with their tax dollars has been sold out from underneath them?
Another place that all these U.S. dollars held by foreigners is going is into U.S. Treasuries. In fact, the federal government very much encourages this. After all, we have to finance our exploding debt somehow.
In essence, first we made some folks in the Middle East and in Asia incredibly wealthy, and now we are asking them to please lend that money back to us so that we can continue living far beyond our means.
Today, the national debt of the United States is rapidly approaching 14 trillion dollars. An increasing percentage of this debt is owned by foreigners.
The borrower is the servant of the lender, and we are rapidly becoming enslaved to the rest of the world.
This is national economic suicide, but our politicians have become so addicted to debt that there doesn't seem to be much hope that things can be turned around any time soon.

Most Americans still do not understand just how bad the economic horror we are facing really is. Meanwhile, foreign nations are using sovereign wealth funds to buy up staggering amounts of U.S. infrastructure. America is quite literally for sale in 2010. All across the United States, highways, ports, toll roads and even parking meters are being gobbled up by foreign powers. We have shipped massive amounts of wealth and jobs to other nations, and now those very same countries are turning around and buying huge amounts of U.S. infrastructure with the gigantic piles of dollars that they have accumulated.
Widespread long-term chronic unemployment was something that America was never supposed to see again. Our leaders promised us that the U.S. financial system was so strong that we would never have another "Great Depression" in our lifetimes. But then the financial crisis of 2008 happened. Unprecedented numbers of Americans started losing their jobs and the U.S. Congress did something that it had never done before. Congress decided to extend unemployment benefits all the way out to 99 weeks.
Doing that has cost U.S. taxpayers approximately $100 billion dollars to this point, but we were promised that it was a "temporary" fix and that it would give displaced U.S. workers a chance to find new jobs.

Oil Slick in West Bay gallery (9 photos) Just three days after the U.S. Coast Guard admiral in charge of the BP oil spill cleanup declared little recoverable surface oil remained in the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana fishers Friday found miles-long strings of weathered oil floating toward fragile marshes on the Mississippi River delta.
The discovery, which comes as millions of birds begin moving toward the region in the fall migration, gave ammunition to groups that have insisted the government has overstated clean-up progress, and could force reclosure of key fishing areas only recently reopened.
The oil was sighted in West Bay, which covers approximately 35 square miles of open water between Southwest Pass, the main shipping channel of the river, and Tiger Pass near Venice. Boat captains working the BP clean-up effort said they have been reporting large areas of surface oil off the delta for more than a week but have seen little response from BP or the Coast Guard, which is in charge of the clean-up. The captains said most of their sightings have occurred during stretches of calm weather, similar to what the area has experienced most of this week.
On Friday reports included accounts of strips of the heavily weathered orange oil that became a signature image of the spill during the summer. One captain said some strips were as much as 400 feet wide and a mile long.
The captains did not want to be named for fear of losing their clean-up jobs with BP.
Coast Guard officials Friday said a boat had been dispatched to investigate the sightings, but that a report would not be available until Saturday morning.
However, Times-Picayune photojournalist Matt Hinton confirmed the sightings in an over-flight of West Bay.
Robert Barham, secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, said if the sightings are confirmed by his agency, the area will be reclosed to fishing until it is confirmed oil-free again.
Just Tuesday, Coast Guard Rear Adm. Paul Zukunft, in charge of the federal response, and his top science adviser, Steve Lehmann, said that little of the 210 million gallons of oil spilled into the Gulf remained on the surface or even on the Gulf's floor. Lehmann pointed to extensive tests conducted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that included taking samples of water from various depths, as well as collections of bottom sediments both far offshore and close to the coast.
Those claims, announced on the six-month anniversary of the spill, brought quick rebuttals from a variety of environmental and fishermen's groups who insist their members have been reporting sightings of surface oil all along.
LSU environmental sciences professor Ed Overton, who has been involved in oil spill response for 30 years, said he believes both claims could be accurate. The Louisiana sweet crude from the Deepwater Horizon is very light and has almost neutral buoyancy, Overton said, which means that when it picks up any particles from the water column, it will sink to the bottom.
"It's quite possible that when the weather calms and the water temperatures changes, the oil particles that have spread along the bottom will recoagulate, then float to the surface again and form these large mats.
"I say this is a possibility, because I know that the (Coast Guard) has sent boats out to investigate these reports, but by the time they get to the scenes, the weather has changed and they don't see any oil."
"I think the reports are credible, but I also think the incident responders are trying to find the oil, too,'' Overton said. "This is unusual, but nothing about this bloody spill has been normal since the beginning."
Overton said it is important for the state to discover the mechanism that is causing the oil to reappear because even this highly weathered oil poses a serious threat to the coastal ecology.
"If this was tar balls floating around, that would be one thing, but these reports are of mats of weathered oil, and that can cause serious problems if it gets into the marsh," he said
The reports are a great concern to wildlife officials. The Mississippi delta is a primary wintering ground for hundreds of thousands of ducks and geese, some of which already have begun arriving. The West Bay area leads into several shallower interior bays that attract ducks, geese and myriad species of shore and wading birds each winter.
Earlier this month state wildlife officials were expressing optimism the spill would have minimal impact on most waterfowl visitors because little oil had penetrated the sensitive wintering grounds.

Today’s harrowing story about a pregnant woman in China who was brutally beaten and abducted by state goons before being forcibly injected with a drug to kill her unborn baby serves as a stark reminder that the current White House science czar, John P. Holdren, advocated the creation of a “planetary regime” that would carry out similar draconian measures in America as part of the eugenicist zeal to reduce world population.
36-year-old Xiao Aiying was eight months pregnant when twelve government officials entered her house, brutally beating and kicking her in the stomach before dragging her kicking and screaming to a state hospital. Her crime? She had conceived a second child and failed to pay the mandatory $40,000 dollar fine for breaking China’s notorious one child policy.
Aiying was held down and forcibly injected with drugs to kill the baby. The woman, “who was filmed in hospital with large bruises on her arms and her dead child still inside her, said: “I have had this baby, feeling it moving around and around my belly. Can you imagine how I feel now,” reports the Daily Mail.
The vast majority of people would find such a story repulsive, but if White House science czar John P. Holdren and a legion of like-minded eugenicists are allowed to implement their autocratic population control measures, forced abortion could be coming to America. This is the dream of the scientific elite who have indoctrinated the globe to embrace the sick religion of eugenics and population control.
In his 1977 book Ecoscience, Holdren explicitly advocated forced abortion. Holdren’s co-author was Paul Ehrlich, famous for his spectacularly inaccurate predictions about how overpopulation would destroy the environment.
On page 837, Holdren and his co-authors write, “Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society.”
On page 786, Holdren explains how single mothers should have their babies taken away by the government; or failing that be forced to have abortions.
“One way to carry out this disapproval might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption—especially those born to minors, who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone. If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it. Adoption proceedings probably should remain more difficult for single people than for married couples, in recognition of the relative difficulty of raising children alone. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society.”
To prevent women from conceiving in the first place, Holdren advocates poisoning the water supply with sterilant drugs, so long as it doesn’t harm livestock.
From page 787-8, ““Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development. To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock.”
On pages 786-787, Holdren introduced the idea of a mandatory implant that prevents women from getting pregnant until they receive government permission to do so.
“The development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired opens additional possibilities for coercive fertility control. The capsule could be implanted at puberty and might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births.”

As we have thoroughly documented, the overpopulation myth is a completely discredited pseudo-science. Cited by advocates of population control as a sick justification, in reality it is merely the front for an elitist drive to thin the human surplus so that we may be more easily enslaved and ruled by the “planetary regime” that Holdren calls for on pages 942-943.

A leaked UN blueprint concerning the need to re-energize the move towards global government outlined a plan to re-brand global warming as “overpopulation” as a means of dismantling the middle classes by discouraging them from having children.
The fact that after having advocated measures which could just as easily have come from the warped mind of someone like Nazi monster Dr. Joseph Mengele, Holdren is now overseeing geo-engineering projects focused around spraying the atmosphere with dangerous sulphur particles, the threat is clear. Holdren and a legion of like-minded eugenicists are allowed to implement their autocratic population control measures, forced abortion could be coming to America. In his 1977 book Ecoscience, Holdren explicitly advocated forced abortion. Holdren’s co-author was Paul Ehrlich, famous for his spectacularly inaccurate predictions about how overpopulation would destroy the environment.
On page 837, Holdren and his co-authors write, “Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society.”
On page 786, Holdren explains how single mothers should have their babies taken away by the government; or failing that be forced to have abortions.
“One way to carry out this disapproval might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption—especially those born to minors, who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone. If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it. Adoption proceedings probably should remain more difficult for single people than for married couples, in recognition of the relative difficulty of raising children alone. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society.”
To prevent women from conceiving in the first place, Holdren advocates poisoning the water supply with sterilant drugs, so long as it doesn’t harm livestock.
From page 787-8, ““Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development. To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock.”
On pages 786-787, Holdren introduced the idea of a mandatory implant that prevents women from getting pregnant until they receive government permission to do so.
“The development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired opens additional possibilities for coercive fertility control. The capsule could be implanted at puberty and might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births.”

As we have thoroughly documented, the overpopulation myth is a completely discredited pseudo-science. Cited by advocates of population control as a sick justification, in reality it is merely the front for an elitist drive to thin the human surplus so that we may be more easily enslaved and ruled by the “planetary regime” that Holdren calls for on pages 942-943.

A leaked UN blueprint concerning the need to re-energize the move towards global government outlined a plan to re-brand global warming as “overpopulation” as a means of dismantling the middle classes by discouraging them from having children.
The fact that after having advocated measures which could just as easily have come from the warped mind of someone like Nazi monster Dr. Joseph Mengele, Holdren is now overseeing geo-engineering projects focused around spraying the atmosphere with dangerous sulphur particles, the threat is clear. We literally have mad scientists who want to abduct pregnant women and kill heir babies in charge of scientific policy and the multi-billion dollar budget that goes with it.
How John Holdren is still being paid with taxpayer money to craft environmental and public health policies when he has openly advocated forced abortion and illegal mass sterilization programs is a damning indictment of how the inmates are running the asylum.

The American people are experiencing financial death by a thousand cuts and most of them don't even realize it. The U.S. government, state governments, local governments and the financial elite are draining us financially in dozens upon dozens of different ways, and yet we have become so programmed to accept it that it just seems normal to us. 2011 is rapidly approaching, and a whole slate of federal taxes is scheduled to go up, state taxes are being increased from coast to coast, local governments are finding new and creative ways to stick it to us and the financial elite are becoming more predatory than ever. Meanwhile, the incomes of many average Americans are actually going down. According to the Census Bureau's annual survey of income and poverty in the United States, of the 52 largest metro areas in the nation, only the city of San Antonio did not see a decline in median household income during 2009. Tens of millions of Americans are flat broke and they are getting pissed off. According to a new poll conducted by CNBC, 92 percent of Americans believe that the U.S. economy is either "fair" or "poor". The American people desperately want someone to fix the economy, but instead our "leaders" are trying to come up with new and creative ways to drain even more money out of us.
In no particular order, the following are 75 ways that the U.S. government, state governments, local governments and the financial elite will be sucking even more of the life blood out of the American people in 2011....
#1 State governments across the U.S. are raising fees and taxes in so many different ways it is staggering. A reader named Richard recently sent me an email in which he described the shock that he experienced when he recently received his license plate renewal notice in the mail....
I just got a license plate renewal notice from the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles. When I opened the envelope and saw the amount of the renewal, I was shocked. The amount seemed much higher than usual.
I have a computerized record of all my financial transactions over the last many years. I looked up previous DMV license plate renewals and I saw that my vehicle license plate fees were up 187% in only 8 years! In other words, they were almost triple what they were 8 years ago!
#2 The cost of health care also continues to escalate out of control. Americans already pay more for health care than anyone else in the world, and yet costs continue to explode. Health insurance companies from coast to coast are already announcing that they must raise health insurance premiums substantially due to the new health care law that Barack Obama and the Democrats have pushed through. For example, I am in perfect health and I have never had a single claim on my health insurance policy and yet I received notice earlier this year that my monthly health insurance premiums were going to be increasing by about 50 percent.
Unfortunately, I am far from alone. Crazy rate hikes are being reported from coast to coast. According to The Wall Street Journal, the following are just some of the health insurance companies that have announced rate hikes that are at least partially attributed to the new health care law....
*Aetna says that the extra benefits that the new health care reform law is forcing it to cover are behind rate increases for new individual plans of 5.4% to 7.4% in California and 5.5% to 6.8% in Nevada.
*Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon claims that the cost of providing additional benefits under the new health care law will account for 3.4% of a 17.1% premium rise for small employers.
*Celtic Insurance claims that half of a whopping 18% health insurance premium increase it is seeking comes from complying with mandates in the new health care law.
But do the financial elite in the health care industry really need more of our money? According to a report by Health Care for America Now, America's five biggest for-profit health insurance companies ended 2009 with a combined profit of $12.2 billion.
#3 But it isn't just our health insurance premiums that are going up because of the new health care law. One review of the health care legislation identified at least 19 different tax increases. Not only that, according to an analysis by the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, the health care reform law will generate $409.2 billion in additional taxes from the American people by the year 2019.
#4 From coast to coast, the big Wall Street banks are buying up thousands upon thousands of tax liens and are making a killing by socking distressed homeowners with predatory interest, outrageous penalties and almost unbelievable legal fees. The article which I published yesterday, "The Big Wall Street Banks Have Found A New Way To Strangle The American People: Predatory Property Tax Collection" elicited a very strong reaction from many readers. In particular, Walter Burien, who has done some great work exposing financial fraud at the government level, left a message explaining how this kind of predatory property tax collection is being done by design....
Per the article “Predatory Property Tax Collection” here is the why government did this. The feds put it through last year at the recommendation of a few private associations that represented many local governments and it was the government that pushed forward to require the banks and mortgage companies to do the tax collection tied directly into the mortgage. (Quicker money for the local governments) Read the new mortgage documentation and the banks have been required to collect property taxation up front for the local government.
Government in most venues had to wait four (4) years to move forward with foreclosure for delinquent property taxes. Well now that they have assigned the banks to do the collection, the banks usually move on foreclosure in six months which gets a new head in the door to pay the same levied property taxes quicker.
But the biggest drain on all of our incomes is excessive taxation by the government. If the U.S. Congress does not act, and there is little reason to believe that they will, the following tax increases will go into effect in 2011....
#5 The lowest bracket for the personal income tax is going to increase from 10 percent to 15 percent.
#6 The next lowest bracket for the personal income tax is going to increase from 25 percent to 28 percent.
#7 The 28 percent tax bracket is going to increase to 31 percent.
#8 The 33 percent tax bracket is going to increase to 36 percent.
#9 The 35 percent tax bracket is going to increase to 39.6 percent.
#10 In 2011, the death tax is scheduled to return. So instead of paying zero percent, estates of $1 million or more are going to be taxed at a rate of 55 percent.
#11 The capital gains tax is going to increase from 15 percent to 20 percent.
#12 The tax on dividends is going to increase from 15 percent to 39.6 percent.
#13 The "marriage penalty" is also scheduled to be reinstated in 2011. Members of Congress keep promising to do something about this, but so far nothing has happened.
#14 Many American businesses are going to get hit with a very significant tax increase in 2011. Small businesses had been able to "expense", rather than slowly depreciate, equipment purchases of up to $250,000 a year. Now that will be slashed down to $25,000. Larger businesses had been able to expense half of their purchases of equipment. Now all of it will have to be depreciated.
#15 They keep talking about it, but so far Congress has not passed a "fix" for the Alternative Minimum Tax. If a fix is not passed, one out of every six U.S. taxpayers is going to be hit by the Alternative Minimum Tax. The taxpayers most likely to be affected are married couples, very large families, home owners and taxpayers in states that have high state and local taxes. The average tax increase that these taxpayers will be facing is going to be approximately $3,900 and most of them have no idea that it is coming. If nothing changes, 27.2 million American households will pay AMT in 2010.

No national statistics are kept, but the pay seizures are rising fast in some areas — up 121 percent in the Phoenix area since 2005, and 55 percent in the Atlanta area since 2004. In Cleveland, garnishments jumped 30 percent between 2008 and 2009 alone.
So if you are getting behind on your debt, you better watch out - your creditors may soon decide to garnish your wages.
#74 Many state and local governments throughout the United States are now viewing their police forces primarily as revenue raising organizations. For example, earlier this year a federally funded ticketing blitz in the state of Virginia resulted in a total of 6996 traffic tickets being handed out in a single weekend. Lindsey Williams: Deathbed Globalist “Spills Gut” On Plan to Destroy America

Appearing on the Alex Jones Show today, Pastor Lindsey Williams provided further details on the ongoing plan by the global elite to destroy America, consolidate financial power, usher in world government, and reduce humanity to a slave class.
Gas prices will rise to between $4 and $5 per gallon in the next few months.
Lindsey Williams told Jones his source – described only as a CEO in the Big Three Oil industry who traveled in Bilderberger circles – is suffering from terminal cancer and “spilled his guts” to him on particular details of the globalist agenda now unfolding.
Pastor Williams said the world is now at a critical phase in the globalist takeover scheme and that within the next few months we will witness the following important developments.
Watch Russia and China
The globalists plan to use China and Russia to strangle America and Europe and eventually reduce both to third-world status.
Lindsey underscored the importance of a major oil export deal between Russia and China. “China reached a long-term deal to lend $25 billion to two Russian energy companies in exchange for an expanded supply of Russian oil, highlighting how the world’s No. 3 economy is using its financial muscle to lock up access to natural resources,” the Wall Street Journal reported in February. “Russia wants to secure customers and find a counterbalance to its dependence on Western Europe.”
According to Williams, trade between Russia and China will be not be conducted using the world’s reserve currency – at present the U.S. dollar –and this will further erode the value of the dollar and hasten its demise. In addition, the new trade will likely be used to bribe Europe into paying higher prices or possibly lose altogether its energy source provided by Russia.
This prospect become painfully obvious in January when Russia and Belarus failed to renew an agreement on crude oil export tariffs and a cut-off of oil threatened the European continent.
China is now the world’s largest energy consumer, having just passed the United States. As China becomes the preferred globalist model for the 21st century, its need for energy will come into conflict with the west.
On October 19, the New York Times reported on China’s aggressive stance on resources. “China, which has been blocking shipments of crucial minerals to Japan for the last month, has now quietly halted some shipments of those materials to the United States and Europe, three industry officials said this week,” thus exacerbating already rising trade and currency tensions with the West.
Oil and the Dollar: Devices to Destroy the Economy
The globalists will once again manipulate the price of oil and further the process of destroying the economy and impoverishing the average American. According to Williams’ source, gasoline will rise to between $4 and $5 per gallon and this unprecedented price increase will reverberate throughout the economy with massive inflation and food and consumer price increases designed to decimate the middle class.
