TSA Invades Roads & Highways With VIPR Checkpoints

The TSA has announced its intention to expand the VIPR program to include roadside inspections of commercial vehicles, setting up a network of internal checkpoints and rolling out security procedures already active in airports, bus terminals and subway stations to roads and highways across the United States.
Up until now, commercial trucks and other vehicles only were subject to warrantless searches and radiation scans at specially designated “state-owned inspection stations” traditionally set up at rest stops next to highways. These internal checkpoints, run by Homeland Security, the Department of Transportation, and the TSA, involve trucks being scanned with backscatter x-ray devices in the name of “safety” and “counter terrorism”.
These inspection stations are now being expanded to normal roads and highways, unleashing an army of TSA agents who will be given a free hand to litter America with internal checkpoints in a chilling throwback to Soviet-style levels of control over the population.
“Inspectors from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) are likely to be more involved in roadside inspections of commercial vehicles, according to TSA officials,” reports the industry website BulkTransporter.com.
”VIPR (Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response) teams can be extremely effective, serving as a visible presence that is random and unpredictable,” says William Arrington with TSA. “VIPR teams are an essential part of protecting highway transportation vehicles and other critical infrastructures.”
The video below shows the truck inspections which will now be expanded to cover the country’s road and highway network.
The report also notes that, “VIPR team members may or may not be in uniform,” stoking fears about the use of secret police manning checkpoints which would be more befitting of the Soviet Union or the former East Germany.
As we have documented, airport security style checkpoints and inspection procedures are already in place at bus terminals, train stations, and are rapidly being expanded to the streets of America.
Since the launch of the Department of Homeland Security’s “See Something, Say Something” program, the DHS has also released promotional material which depicts would-be TSA agents conducting searches at public events, including a Buccaneers football game.
Homeland Security is also developing technology to be used at “security events” which purports to monitor “malintent” on behalf of an individual who passes through a checkpoint. The video below explains how “Future Attribute Screening Technology” (FAST) checkpoints will conduct “physiological” and “behavioral” tests in order to weed out suspected terrorists and criminals.
The clip shows individuals who attend “security events” being led into trailers before they are interrogated as to whether they are terrorists while lie detector-style computer programs analyze their physiological responses. The subjects are asked about their whereabouts, and if they are attempting to smuggle bombs or recording devices into the “expo,” proving that the technology is intended to be used at public events and not just airports. Individuals who do not satisfy the first lie detector-style test are then asked “additional questions”.
If people think they can avoid the TSA by staying away from airports, they’re going to be in for a rude awakening. TSA is clearly engaged in a total takeover of society and plans to have its agents searching, patting down, scanning and harassing Americans at all levels of society, not just at transport hubs but at public events, in the street and on highways and roads across the country.
The implementation of ‘Checkpoint USA’, where citizens are routinely stopped, searched and radiated by federal VIPER teams is further evidence of how America is crumbling into a Soviet-style police state where the presumption of innocent until proven guilty is abolished and the 4th amendment eviscerated. The DHS program also represents a complete violation of the 10th Amendment in that it brazenly contravenes states’ rights.

Protesters Launch Campaign to Expose Abortion 'Profiteers'

A Christian organization with the politically incorrect name Repent America has launched a campaign that chief Michael Marcavage says could be the one to bring the abortion industry in the United States to its knees.
How?
Expose those companies that are making money off the abortion of unborn children by supplying abortion entities such as Planned Parenthood with services.
In the spotlight in the campaign is Stericyle, which RA reports is a major contractor hauling away the "medical waste," or the bodies of aborted infants.
Of course in the news in recent days has been the horrific case of jailed Pennsylvania abortionist Kermit Gosnell, who along with his wife and eight other suspects was named in an indictment for the deaths of eight – one mother and seven infants.
The indictment includes photographs of the horrors investigators found, including pickled feet in jars, bodies of babies frozen in a cooler and bags of "waste" piled in the basement.
Most abortion clinics, however, would not be able to convince women to experience such conditions to obtain abortions and Marcavage told WND part of the impetus behind the campaign is to pressure suppliers into halting their services.
"There's no question. The reality of the situation is if we can cut off their ability to do abortions, the whole industry would collapse," he said in a recent interview.
"It is sick beyond words that businesses like Stericycle are profiting from collecting murdered children and incinerating their bodies with the trash. What's more is the abominable child killing that has been tolerated in our nation for 38 years," Marcavage said.
"While many have focused their efforts on overturning Roe v. Wade by putting their trust in corrupt judicial systems and politicians, they have neglected the necessity of pursuing those that enable abortion mills to operate in the first place," he added. "Without Stericycle and companies like it, the abortion industry would collapse."
Contacted by WND, officials at Stericyle said they would respond with a comment on the campaign, but later did not return calls.
Repent America is centering its campaign around a Campaign to Stop Stericycle website, which includes information about the campaign, the information on "blood money profiteers" and evidence, including recordings that have been made with Stericycle officials confirming their work with abortion businesses.
In one, Stericycle SQ Group Account Manager Mara Villalobos, who formerly managed Stericycle's contracts with "multiple regions of Planned Parenthood" – confirmed that Stericycle does indeed accept fetal remains.
In a recording, she explains how the fetal remains go into one box for pickup and disposal, and the other materials, such as blood-soaked towels or gloves, go into another.
"She explained the detailed packaging guidelines for abortion mills, in which fetal remains are placed into red 'soft waste' bags, then into secondary boxes, which are labeled with 'incinerate only' stickers. The fetal remains are then taken to Stericycle's incineration plant in Haw River, N.C., where they are burned into ash," the report states.
"Stericycle, whose profits total over a billion dollars in annual income, generates a portion of their sales revenue from services provided to abortion mills. One of Stericycle's largest clients is Planned Parenthood, which maintains a national account with the medical 'waste' service," the organization reports.
"In recent years, Stericycle has acquired countless medical waste companies until it has become the premiere 'waste' collection service to abortion mills nationwide. Consequently, the war on abortion has consolidated to the point where stopping this one giant could deliver a gigantic blow to the abortion industry," it said.
"Stericycle must be called to account for their willful involvement in the furtherance of the abortion holocaust," the report said.
The campaign also outlines the trucking companies that lease vehicles to Stericycle.
"Penske Truck Leasing has now prohibited Stericycle from using their trucks to service abortion mills," the report said. "In fact, Penske Truck Leasing president and EO Brian Hard vowed in an e-mail to the campaign, 'We have been, and you have my word that we will continue to be, proactive in stopping Stericycle from using our trucks to service abortion clinics.'"
"We are committed to aggressively pursuing and exposing Stericycle, its officers, suppliers and investors until this Goliath stops furthering the abortion holocaust in our nation," Marcavage said.
The website lists a number of action points for those who choose to get involved, including contacting the company, signing a petition and others.

Grand jury found 'shop of horrors' that agencies refused to address.

They're graphic, gruesome and gut-wrenching. And they're now available online to document the horrors of a successful abortion business.
They are the images reviewed by authorities in Pennsylvania who ultimately arrested and jailed abortionist Kermit Gosnell, his wife and eight other suspects after a grand jury handed down indictments that include eight counts of murder.
The counts are for the death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar, who died Nov. 20, 2009, when she overdosed on painkillers during an abortion, and seven babies authorities say were born alive during failed illegal late-term abortions and then killed by Gosnell or his clinic workers.
Officials with Operation Rescue, a group that bought a building housing an abortion business in Wichita, Kan., as part of a process to close it down, have posted online the full 280-plus page indictment containing the graphic images that grand jury members had to review.

The organization, led by Troy Newman, also has posted the images on its website.
In one photo, a little boy has his right hand at his mouth, almost like he's sucking his thumb, and in another a little girl with dark hair lies on her back with a medical tab on her left arm.
Then there's the image of the back of the neck of a baby boy who was born alive and allegedly killed after birth, the photo revealing where the defendants allegedly inserted a scissors to cut his spinal cord.
Further images show a pile of brightly colored garbage bags in the clinic basement – all containing "biohazard" material as well as bags filling a freezer that hold "aborted baby remains."
According to OR, the grand jury had a stern rebuke for various regulators whose inspectors "looked the other way" regarding Gosnell's activities.
"These people who saw the abuses yet stood idly by, or worse, encouraged the behavior that has now shocked the nation bear some responsibility for what happened in Philadelphia. In fact, they deserve criminal prosecution just as much as Gosnell and his cohorts because their silence not only enabled the crimes, but gave tacit consent to them," the OR report said.
"Operation Rescue calls for massive reforms in the way abortionists and abortion clinics are handled by regulatory agencies nationwide. Kermit Gosnell's shop of horrors is certainly not the only abortion mill of this kind in operation in America," the statement said.
"Operation Rescue calls for immediate emergency inspections of every abortion clinic in the nation. We have often said that if this were to ever happen, no abortion clinic would remain in operation because we have yet to discover one that adheres to all the laws that apply to them. There is no doubt that proper enforcement of the laws already in place would save the lives of women like Mrs. Mongar and babies such as the ones whose tragic images we have posted on our web site," said Newman.
"As the 38th memorial of Roe v. Wade approaches, it is time for Americans to consider the horrors of abortion and demand that government abolish this barbaric practice forever," he said.
